I finally got some new running shoes, yay! (Birthday gift from the husband)
I have been wearing nike vomeros which I really liked, except I overpronate, especially in my right foot, and I wanted to try something with a little more stability. So, I went from this
to this
I picked these because the Asics all were listed under stability shoes, and the model I got won a best pick award, so I decided to try them out. I haven’t run in them yet, but I did walk around the house some and they feel alright, so we will see! I am trying to wait another couple weeks before I start using them, until I start my marathon training so they will last me awhile. I think the ones I have still have a few more miles in them.
Today was a rest day and tomorrow I will run here at the house, outside.

I am an asics wearer too!!!! I was in the kayanos for a couple years but just switched to the 2150s. Hope you love them like I do 🙂

I just got a new pair of Brooks (my first pair!) a little over a month ago and I love them. They have tons of support in the arches because I pronate as well 🙂

Awsome shoes, I like the pink in them, they are soo cute. I wear Mizunos and I love them!! I tried Asics and switched to Mizunos. Your shoes are really nice. Enjoy them!
yeah I had the option of pink or green in my last pair and I got green b/c I ALWAYS get pink, but I had to go back to my color!

I run on Mizuno Wave Riders, a neutral shoe. I love, love, love them. Recently I tried Brooks Ravenna and wasn’t thrilled with the fit. They runa little wide for me (but come in super cute colors!)
my husband wears the mens wave riders and really likes them!
I ran in an Asic trail shoe first and then I now have Brooks Defyance cause I am neutral with a high arch. But I still haven’t found the perfect shoe, eventually I will.
see I have neutral arches so I can wear a lot of shoes. I hope you find one!

looks like the 2150’s? Good choice…they are a pretty popular seller in our store second only to the brooks adrenaline. if you pronate you definitely shouldn’t be in the volmeros. Hope you like them…keep us posted!

asics all the way for me!! love them. i like to stretch my toes while running…i know sounds weird. usually on a long run of 8 miles or more, i like to stretch out my feel while still running and these shoes allow for this. i love them!
ya I was happy to see the wide/big toebox. I HATE when my toes feel cramped, it dries me crazy!

Found you through Skinny Runner’s blog 🙂 These are a couple models above my shoes. I wear the Asics 1140 (I tried the 2140 and they killed my heels, so I went back to my tried and true 1140s.) I just got my new shoes yesterday – I order them on shoes.com when they’re on sale. So I am going from pink to green.
