Target Pants Review

So I bought some of the target running pants, and I thought I would take the time to give a little review on the product. First, when i heard the C9 brand was coming out with extended sizes I was stoked! regular pants are too short, and forget putting the in the dryer! The “long” size said on the tag: “for women 5’9″ and taller.” Well, I am 5’9″ so I thought they would fit perfect, and even if they were a SMIDGE too long, I could put them in the dryer.

Well, I bought said pants, and they are SO LONG! Like, almost cover my entire foot wrapped underneath my heel! Seriously? I am 5’9″ and these are ridiculously long! You would have to be about 6’2″ to fit in these! I would think more women are 5’9″ or 5’10” and not 6’2″!!! I was a little bummed about it, but I stuck them in the dryer this morning so hopefully they will shorten up.

They are SUPER comfy, and fit is good other than the length. I got the mediums and felt great in them on my run yesterday (other than the fact that I had to ROLL UP THE BOTTOMS!) I guess that’s how short people feel when wearing regular pants?

Anyway, HERE is the link to the pants. Maybe if you are not abnormally tall/short the regular length will be perfect for you! These pants have some great potential at a great price!

On another note, went to wal mart today and got some spinach, at some point I will be trying a green monster! I am nervous!!
May do some strength training today, we will see!

  1. I am amazed you ran in pants. I can never run in pants, unless it is freezing cold and even then I start to get to hot. I can never find pants like that to fit me. I either have to roll them up or get my mom to hem them for me.

    • have you tried the target pants? they come in tall, regular, and short. I bet the short would fit you!
LOL! I had to run in pants for the disney half. in 23 degrees there was no getting hot! the past few weekends here it was been low 30’s and I have needed them. I did get warm running in the yesterday b/c it was above 60.

  2. love this review – i am abnormally small, so im always looking for new clothes to work out in that fit my body (pants usually never work unless i cut them!) plus who doesnt love a good deal?!

    • your welcome! I found them super comfy, hopefully the short length will fit you! I was pleased to find extended sizes in something on the cheaper side, usually things like that are super expensive!

  3. That Pink girl says

Yes, that is exactly how short people feel. I’m totes cool with having work pants hemmed, but running gear? No thank you. That’s why I stick with capri tights – they are sure to be short enough! :o)

  4. Lily @ Lily's Health Pad says

I’m 5’9″ also, and I often have this same problem! Have you ever tried Gap’s long pants? They are abnormally long!!! I’ve thought the same thing you said about these pants: you have to be 6’2″ to wear them!

I usually run around with pants that are slightly too short because I can’t handle the longs.

  5. I just caught up with reading some of your entries! (My hubby’s been using the computer a lot lately for school so I haven’t had a lot of computer time!) Sounds like things are going well with training and I loved seeing some pics of your house in your earlier post- it looks beautiful! Good job with the organization too! My hubby and I just moved into a bigger apartment and I needed that inspiration to get organized and use our space well! Thanks for the pants review! It is so hard to find good work out clothes sometimes. I think the shorter pant size might work for me since I have short legs. I will check them out next time I’m at Target! 🙂

    • hey girl thanks for reading! I actually started looking at some home decorating blogs and the rooms looked so nice it inspired me to get going. I had been saying I “needed” to do it but never really felt like it till now! Hopefully I can do the whole house at some point haha! But that closet was definately the worst!
I hope the pants fit you!

  6. yes, short people have issues with most pants. thanks for bringing that up.

That said, I have a pair of those pants in *short*…they feel a bit short, but are actually the perfect workout length. I just wear them around the house, though…haven’t tried running in them (b/c it’s too warm here). I like them, they are very comfy!

  7. LOL. It rained last night, but is clear and sunny today. I will attempt a lunch run yet again…

  8. How weird that they would make those pants THAT long! What the heck! I am tall also… 5’8″ but I have short legs and A LONG torso.

MMMMM I will have to try that smoothie mix. Sounds good!

  9. I did! 2 miles and boy am I out of shape! LOL
