Runner Christmas Gift Guide 2012

December 5, 2012 | fitness, running

So I am sure you have seen 100 of these across the fitness blog world in the past couple of weeks, but everyone’s is a little different right? Plus, if you see some of the same stuff repeated then you know it must be a great product! So, here is what I think you should be asking Santa for for Christmas!

1.) RunningSkirts.Com Red Candy Stripe Running Skirt

It’s no secret I love runningskirts.com skirts. I have worn them for pretty much every single race I have ever run. So comfy, cute, functional (side pockets with velcro!) and girly! They always have amazing prints and come out with new ones twice a year. The have the running skirt style with panty briefs underneath, and athletic skirt with compression shorts underneath.

2.) Oakley Women TwentySix.2 Sunglasses

These sunglasses are stylish while still being girly, all while staying on your face! Who says sunglasses you run or workout in can’t be cute? They came with a great case as well, so you don’t have to worry about breaking them. (I MAY or may not be having a giveaway next week….be sure to come back!)

3.) Under Armour: Armour Bra

I am hosting a giveaway for this bra right now! But if you don’t win, be sure to still add it to your Christmas list. It has great support, removable pads, mesh for ventilation, and is modest enough to wear alone. Love it!

4.) Running on the Wall medal display

Great customer service, great prices, and super cute medal and bib displays! Many colors to choose from and great motivational quotes as well. I was very pleased with the product and the service and would buy from them again when I run out of room!

5.) GO Sport ID

Guys, this is so important. You should always, ALWAYS wear your information on you when you are running, you just never know what can happen and it’s better to be safe than sorry. Being the color coordinated person I am, I love the Go Sport ID Inspire with the bundle pack so you can change out the colors! This would make a great gift or stocking stuffer.

6.) Garmin Forerunner 10

Not gonna lie, I have been eyeing this bad boy up for awhile. My garmin is almost four years old and has been through a lot, and it isn’t working so well anymore. Plus, it’s big and bulky. This one is more feminine and it’s PINK! I must have it.

7.) Gone for a Run decorative pillow

How cute is this? They have a ton of different ones (and other great runner gifts as well!) Good prices and great customer service to boot.

8.) Raw Threads shirts

I have yet to pick one up for myself but I droll over them at every expo I go to. Raw Threads has THE cutest shirts, made of the softest material. I particularly like their princess/castle inspired collection, and have my eyes on this one:

Adorable. Must. Have. Be sure to check out all their other awesome merchandise!

Like you said, it’s so fun to see what everyone loves. These are such great items but different from other guides I’ve seen. I have my fingers crossed for a pair those Oakley’s.

Great list!! I’d add any short from “One More Mile” onto the list – I love all the funny sayings and the material is great (nope, I don’t work/know anyone in the company. Just really like it).

Your list is actually really different from every other list I’ve seen — most list a Garmin, but the sunglasses, GO ID and such are all unique. Thanks for sharing some DIFFERENT ideas! 🙂

I bought my husband the Garmin 10 (in black, not pink, lol) for his birthday. He loves it! Glad you mentioned the Oakley sunglasses. I never liked traditional Oakleys but I like the look of those! Going on my Christmas list for sure– I can’t run without sunglasses!

YES I was dancing, eating mac and cheese from the YES I was dancing, eating mac and cheese from the kids menu, and singing “Let it Go” with a butter knife while wearing Mickey ears on our Disney cruise. 🚢

When I was 12, I was worried a lot… worried about failing, scared of what people would think of me, and of not fitting in or being “cool”.
I turned 40 this year and have been spending time trying to figure out exactly who I really am with all expectations stripped away. I don’t love the term “finding yourself”, but here I feel like it fits. ✨

Maybe finding yourself means going back to being 12.… and being myself without being scared. Heather at 12 would never believe this version of me… but I think she’d be proud. 💛✨

Ever wondered what extra magic you can add for a b Ever wondered what extra magic you can add for a birthday onboard a @disneycruiseline ship? 🚢

Emma Kate turned 11 last month during our sailing and we did so many birthday things! She got a ton of “happy birthday’s” from crew and guests to make it extra special. ✨

👉🏻For a link to the birthday ears she wore (they have lots of colors and variations!) comment “EARS” and I will send it to you!

This is 11. ✨🎉 Not sure how this happened, b This is 11. ✨🎉

Not sure how this happened, but time snuck up on me and now I have an 11 year old. 🥹
We couldn’t think of a more fun place to celebrate that on Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island in the Bahamas.

She started the day with presents, then hours and hours in the sun on the island, followed by cake and singing at dinner, the tween club, and fireworks at sea! (They were for pirate night but we said they were birthday fireworks!)

Happy birthday to the most fierce, kind, competitive, loyal, funny, and beautiful little girl I know. 🩷 Never change who you are and stop growing up so fast! So. Blessed to have the best title there is, Emma Kate’s mom. 💖

I’ve been adding Incrediwear’s circulation socks and sport socks into my training routine, and they’ve helped me recover faster, reduce soreness, and keep my legs fresh for long runs.
Unlike compression, Incrediwear products actually increase blood flow, which means more oxygen + nutrients where your body needs it most.

And it’s not just athletes who benefit. My dad’s had two knee replacements, and the Incrediwear knee sleeves help him manage swelling, restore mobility, and feel comfortable moving again.

From world-class athletes like LeBron James and Steph Curry to everyday runners (and even my dad!), Incrediwear makes recovery accessible to everyone. 🏃‍♀️💪
