Never Give Up

June 12, 2012 | fitness, Giveaway, running

With the summer heat settling in down here in the south, I am finding myself on the treadmill more and more. I don’t particularly like this fact, but I know it’s better for me. Not only will I be saved from a heat stroke, but I can better gauge my progress with my speed work to reach my Under Armour goal. Unfortunately, I don’t think I am going to reach my goal just yet. Between food poisoning, being on vacation, and some other personal things going on, I just need more time. But, the good news is THAT’S OK!

Sometimes we don’t reach our goals in our desired, allotted time, but it doesn’t mean we should stop pursuing them. I am determined to reach mine, even if it takes more days, weeks, or months.

I am loving my new Under Armour gear though, something about a new outfit makes me run faster. I am really loving my new shoes the most, I enjoy switching up my running shoes anyway so these came at the perfect time. I love the slash marks on the back of the Slash Capris, and I like how light and airy the Charm Tank feels as well.

Don’t worry, if you are just finding out about this challenge, you can still sign up! Check out the awesome website Under Armour has set up, and declare your goal today. There are so many different challenges and ways to stretch yourself on the website, it’s such a great tool and great motivation as well. I think it’s so cool how the Under Armour mindset has really pushed me to want to achieve my goal. Seeing so many like minded and beautiful women all working so hard to accomplish a goal really makes me want to be the best version of myself I can be.

Bottom line, don’t give up! If you are struggling, or plateaued, push on through! Even after the challenge is officially over, there is no reason why you still cannot reach your goal. I will be updating my blog and hopefully soon I will be celebrating and announcing that I reached mine, and I would love to be able to celebrate with you as well. Remember what makes you beautiful, and remember not to give up! Track your progress and keep going!

You can enter to win a $500 gift card from Under Armour! Just answer the question below:

I was so tired of dragging around heavy, clunky ba I was so tired of dragging around heavy, clunky bags on my trips! ✈️

So I invested in the Carry-On from @hulkenbag! It’s lightweight, sleek, and glides effortlessly wherever I go. It has 4 pockets and opens from the top, so it’s very easy to grab things in flight! I’ve got room for everything I need and can fit all my devices, snacks, books, and a neck pillow seamlessly inside.

I always pair my Carry-On with the Schlep Stack because who has time to dig through a messy bag? 👜✨

Trust me, Hulken is a total game-changer!

The beaches of Alabama are the kind of place where the days feel slow, the kids are happy, and you don’t feel like you need a vacation after your vacation.

Alabama beaches in the spring just make sense.

2016 was a VERY big year for us. Moving states. Running multiple businesses. Being accused of getting a divorce. 🤣🫣 People are wild, yall.

Looking back they were some hard, wild times and I now know more hard times were ahead for us, but I wouldn’t change any of it. I know it’s part of our story, God had a plan, and there is a reason for it all. Just gotta keep keeping on! ❤️
