There are a LOT of reasons to stay at the Beach Club Resort and Spa in Fort Morgan, (just outside Gulf Shores) Alabama. I truly could gush on and on about how much my family loves it there. I decided to pick five of my favorite things to tell you about, and then answer any additional questions that come from the post. Let’s buckle up and get moving!
Why I love the Beach Club Resort and Spa
Spa:
The first reason is right there in the name…a spa. Not just any spa, but an Aveda spa, right on property, mere steps away from the condo we stayed in. I was greeted by the lovely smell of Aveda products, and brought back to change in the locker room and brought to a beautiful relaxation space and offered a mimosa. Yes please! There is also coffee and other items available. IF you want to jump in the hot tub, bring your swimsuit and arrive early for your treatments to unwind a bit before hand.
I had a special package that included a massage, facial, and scalp massage, and I was in HEAVEN. I asked for deep pressure and KC (ask for him!) delivered just that. He did a wonderful job all the way around, and I felt so relaxed and ready to enjoy the rest of my vacation. Be sure to do some shopping on your way out for the products used on you during your treatments. They have some great ones available!
2.) Onsite restaurants:
When I go on vacation, it’s really, really nice to not have to get in my car a lot or drive far. Thankfully, The Beach Club has multiple options! They have an AMAZING restaurant called Coast that is at their Clubhouse. We chose to eat outside and were treated to a gorgeous sunset. The food and service are out of this world, it was one of the highlights of the trip. They also have a fun restaurant near the front of the property called the Village Hideaway. Think burgers, pizza, and tacos. Lots of options! There is also an ice cream shop (tip: if you book your trip through Spectrum Resorts all the kids in your fam get a FREE scoop of ice cream!)
There is also a bar and grill at the Clubhouse pool, and seasonally they even have several food trucks on the village lawn! So. many. options.
3.) Family friendly:
The Beach Club has done an amazing job at cultivating a family friendly atmosphere at their resort. If you book through Spectrum Resorts, you have access to the larger clubhouse pool, as well as children’s craft activities during the day. Seasonally there are also nightly events on the village lawn like a visit from princesses, face painting, and corn hole. We never felt like it was a “party resort” or had issues with noise.
4.) Get away from it all:
This resort is “off the beaten path,” meaning it’s not right on the “strip” of other condos, resorts, and hotels. Yes that means you have to drive an extra 10-15 minutes to get to it, but I LOVE the feeling of seclusion. There aren’t a ton of people just walking around, because there aren’t any buildings aside from houses right next to the resort. You truly feel like you are tucked away in a peaceful place so that you can really relax, and I love it!
5.) So many room options:
At the Beach Club, not only can you choose from 2, 3, or 4 bedroom condos, but there are also adorable cottages you can rent as well that are right behind the condos/a quick walk to the beach. There are so many room configurations to choose from, and the website has photos of each condo so you know exactly what you are getting! There are 4 condo buildings, each with a pool and with easy boardwalk access down to the beach. Perfection!
These are just a few of the many reasons we love staying at the Beach Club Resort and Spa, and I’m already thinking about when we can go back again!
