Back in July, we had the privilege to work with Margaritaville Island Hotel in Pigeon Forge again. They were so gracious to host us, and we had a fabulous time! I wanted to share a few highlights and tips from the hotel as I go through our fun weekend! Enjoy!
We checked in on a Friday afternoon, into our beautiful fountain view room. There are 3 room types…fountain, river, and village. For the quietest experience, I would book a river view
I LOVE the bath products they give you. And the show is huge with a rainwater shower head.
If you love to people watch, these are the rooms for you! We love to sit on our balcony and watch the dancing fountains, and the beautiful ferris wheel.
Speaking of ferris wheel, we also had ride tickets for all the fun things to do on The Island, and Bobby and Emma Kate rode the ferris wheel for some great views. If you buy an unlimited ride pass at The Island, it lasts for 48 hours!
But her favorite things to do at the Island are to jump on these trampolines. She does it at least three times when we visit!
And she loves to ride the rides, especially the newer ones installed within the past year. She is so brave, we just like to watch! There is also a super fun ropes course!
But nighttime is definitely my favorite for some gorgeous colorful lights. The dancing fountains come alive every half hour, and are worth the wait.
In the mornings, EK and I like to go to the coffee shop in the lobby. They also serve breakfast sandwiches if you want to grab something to eat before your fun day. Ek got a strawberry smoothie.
We then go sit in the rocking chairs around the fountains and just talk. The shops aren’t open yet so it’s so peaceful, and I love those mornings with her!
It’s Saturday, so we decided to hang out at the NEWLY RENOVATED rooftop pool! It came out beautifully. If you don’t have a fountain view room, this is a great place to come hang out and get the same view/experience.
The bar has a food and drink menu, so you don’t even have to leave the pool for snacks or meals. It’s a big menu, too!
They added cornhole
As well as some fun new chairs,
And more umbrellas for shade!
Looking up at the ferris wheel from my chair never gets old either!
They also have a hot tub, and you can rent cabanas.
Rain moved in that afternoon, so we headed inside before the storm. Note, for something else to do on a rainy day, they do have a workout room!
There is a great restaurant and bar right off of the beautiful lobby, Fins Bar and Chill, a perfect place for dinner on a stormy evening. The food was really good, and they also have a full bar. When weather is nice, you can even sit outside.
Unfortunately the weekend went by way too fast, but we had an amazing time as usual! This hotel is in the best location with so much to do, you never need to leave! BUT if you do need to leave, they offer self AND valet parking, which we love!
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you again to the hotel for having us!
