When we were in Walt Disney World last week, we had the opportunity to stay in a renovated room at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort thanks to Tink’s Magical Vacations. We were in the Trinidad section (used to be pirate themed rooms), building 36, room 3613. This location was first floor, on a corner and super close to the parking lot. We had a view of the indoor courtyard. (Our room was on the bottom left of this pic.)
The thoughtful renovation of our room left a lasting impression, especially in terms of functionality. The incorporation of a Murphy bed and a rolling table in front of the sofa not only maximized space but also made maneuvering around the room effortless. The clever design allowed us to avoid the space constraints often associated with traditional double queen beds. Plus, the pull-down 5th sleeper was a hit with our 9-year-old, providing the perfect solution for a restful night’s sleep while maintaining ample space during the day.
One standout feature of the renovated room was the abundance of electrical outlets and USB plug-ins strategically placed throughout. From both sides of the bed to above the trundle bed and on the counter under the TV, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort ensures you stay connected without the hassle of searching for charging ports.
For those who enjoy some bedtime reading without disturbing others, the room’s little reader lights at the ends of the bed proved to be a thoughtful touch. Additionally, the raised bed offered an ideal spot for storing suitcases, keeping the room tidy and organized.
The bathroom, featuring a barn door for privacy and dual sinks, showcased Disney’s commitment to guest comfort. Ample shelving and hanging storage ensured we never felt cramped, while the inclusion of a coffee maker and refrigerator added a convenient touch to our stay.
Showering became a breeze with H2O products seamlessly built into the wall, minimizing the need to pack bulky toiletries. Say goodbye to the hassle of dealing with a shower curtain, as Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort offers a modern and hygienic shower experience.
The rooms exuded a vibrant atmosphere, thanks to two big windows adorned with both sheer and blackout curtains. Disney’s attention to detail truly shines through, creating a space that caters to the needs and preferences of its guests.
The rooms were nice and bright, and we had two big windows with sheer curtains and blackout thick ones as well. I feel like Disney truly thought about what matters to guests when creating these rooms and I would definitely stay at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort again!
