ASICS LA Marathon Video

May 6, 2015 | blogging, fitness, Race Recaps, running

Hey guys, I made it back home! Do you remember back when I ran the LA marathon with ASICS that I mentioned I would be recording the race as I ran? Well, I got the finished product back the other day and wanted to share it with you. It’s crazy to see over three hours of footage condensed down into less than three minutes, but I love it!

ASICS LA marathon video:

QOTD: Have you ever recorded yourself while you run?

I am a 1x marathoner, 4x halfer, and mom to an 18mth old. Being a mother, wife, and runner are the things that define me. Your video brought tears to my eyes. You are such an inspiration! What an awesome way to remember the day.

What a great video recap! I’m sure Emma Kate will be so proud of you once she’s old enough to understand what you were able to accomplish only five months after having her.

Turning 40 has me reflecting a lot — where I thought I’d be, where I actually am, and what “success” really means. Who is in charge of making those rules anyway? 👀

I don’t have it all figured out. But I’m learning that I’m not behind. I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
And if you’re struggling with this too… you’re not alone. 💛

Recently, I had the opportunity to enjoy EPCOT’s Recently, I had the opportunity to enjoy EPCOT’s new adults only bar, Geo-82. ✨

It’s beautiful, sophisticated, and very nostalgic. The attention to detail is astounding!

You can even purchase a fireworks package and sip and dine while watching the show with the music piped in and lights dimmed.

My fave? The brown butter old fashioned, complete with spaceship earth stamped ice cube. 🧊 🥃

Reservations can be made 60 days in advance on the Walt Disney World app, and walk-ins are not accepted at this time.

I will admit it’s pricey, so something I would save for a special occasion! Very cool experience though and would 10/10 go again!
