As mentioned in my email, HIIT workouts (high intensity interval training) are very effective and only have to be done for a short amount of time. I have created a Pinterest board with some of my favorite HIIT workouts to get you going. Some require equipment and some do not. Pick your favorite and get moving! No excuses!
Also, I wanted to mention how much I love my FitBit* for step tracking, GPS runs, stair climbing, etc. It holds me accountable during the day and vibrates when I need to stand up and walk. I love it!
My sample weekly workout:
Sunday: Rest day
Monday: Hard workout (Orange Theory/strength) (55 min)
Tuesday: easy day (power walk plus resistance bands) (45 min)
Wednesday: HIIT workout (30 min)
Thursday: easy day (yoga plus recovery/easy run) (45 min)
Friday: Hard Workout (Orange Theory/strength) (55 min)
Saturday: 3-5 mile run, push pace but not killing myself. (30-45 min)
As you can see, I take one full rest day (some weeks two, I would just take out one of my easy days and make it a rest day) and only TWO of my workouts are around an hour. The rest are 30-45 minutes. Guys, I know you can find 30-45 minutes in your schedule to improve your ONLY body you will ever get!
