Hydration is key to overall health, and can also help aid in weight loss. It can keep you feeling full, clear up your skin, and help you to have energy and focus. I have a hard time remembering to drink water during the day, and am obsessed with this water bottle, called Hidrate Spark. It glows to remind you to drink, and it has an app so it automatically tracks how much water you drink. Have a FitBit? It also can sync to your watch so you can easily set goals and keep track. It’s a lot of fun!

If you are a runner and are looking for a hydration belt to take on your runs, I recommend belts by Nathan.

Also, if you are looking to Purcahse a FitBit, my husband and I both have the Charge 2. It tracks your steps, heart rate, acts as a GPS watch, and tracks your sleep. All great things to know and be in control of when trying to be in top shape!

A couple of my favorite water drinking tips:
1.) Drink a glass first thing when you wake up before your coffee. A great way to knock out 8 ounces and wake up your body!
2.) Are you hungry? Drink a glass of water first and see if it goes away. You may just be dehydrated.
3.) Working out hard especially in the heat? Make sure you are upping your water intake as you up your exercise level.
4.) Getting up to go get water while at work is a great way to get yourself out of your chair and away from your desk for a few minutes!
5.) I aim for 8-9 glasses a day, but depending on your size you may want to adjust. There are lots of “calculators” online to help you figure out a goal amount.
