Strength training is an essential part of overall health. When I started lifting weights I noticed I was injured less, I was running faster, and my body changed shape. I did NOT bulk up, and found I actually enjoyed what I was doing! Below you will find a link to a Pinterest board loaded with strength training workouts. Some are body weight only and some rely on dumbbells and kettle bells.
I also highly recommend resistance bands. They are super cheap but can be very effective in strength training and you can do a lot with them (check Pinterest board)
