Montgomery’s Moving to Knoxville

It wasn’t until I became a parent that I realize

It wasn’t until I became a parent that I realized just how many sacrifices both of my parents made for me when I was growing up.

The times they could have bought something for themselves but bought something for me instead. All the driving me to countless sports practices, sitting in uncomfortable bleachers for hours on end at tournaments, and watching class plays.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads and dad figures out there. You are appreciated and loved! (And to the other handsome dude in the second picture, thank you for loving Emma Kate the way you do. You are the fun parent and although I’m a little jealous, I’m so happy to see the special bond you and Emma Kate have. 💜)

To those who are having a hard day today, I see you and am thinking about you. Big hugs.

It is going on this summer and features one of our family faves…FROZEN! ❄️

The individual races are sold out, but you can still let it go and register for the challenge on rundisney.com!

Each of the 3 events features a unique medal inspired by Frozen, and if you run all 3, a fourth runDisney Virtual Challenge medal is yours! 🏅

In addition, a themed bib and an at-home themed kit that includes a start line, finish line and mile markers will be available for download. It’s so nice to be able to run on your own schedule in whatever location you choose!

So if you are missing your happy place as much as I am, this running series may help you feel a little bit more at “home” this summer. I just signed up and can’t wait to run my races. Some things are just worth melting in the heat for. ☃️

Ever feel like everyone is at the beach except you? 😂 With the highlight reel that is Instagram, it’s easy to have FOMO or feel like your life isn’t as exciting as everyone else’s.

This is your reminder that someone’s beach trip is just a few days out of the year, and the other 300 days probably look a lot like yours. We will never know what goes on behind the scenes, so if you catch yourself feeling envious in a not so good way, take a step back and think of 5 awesome things in your life you are grateful for. An attitude of gratitude always helps me!

At @uptowndental, I can relax and get pampered in a beautiful office! No need to stress about going to the dentist when they have a “spa menu” waiting for you upon arrival!

-Relax in a massage chair
-Listen to peaceful music or watch Netflix
-Enjoy coffee or bottled water
-Add a super soft blanket, heated hand warmers or a heated neck warmer to further help you relax
-Work with the sweetest dentist and most caring hygienists in the Madison/Jackson area!
-Get some Botox or filler while there!

The last week we were in Mississippi, we had already packed up our kitchen and so we weren’t cooking in our house anymore. (Ad)

But of course, we still had to eat. Enter @takeabreakdeliveries, which is veteran and locally owned.

They focus drivers on one customer at a time. If they are running behind due to restaurant delay, they contact you. If there is an error, you talk to a real person not a call center.

Not to mention, many of the restaurants they work with are locally owned so one order helps two businesses!

Something that really sets them apart is that they offer alcohol delivery! They can pick up a meal & a bottle of wine/alcohol/beer to deliver at one time. They are super friendly and I loved ordering from them! Be sure to download the app if you live in the Jackson area!

TOMORROW is the big day! 👏🏻

Y’all. It’s amazing how many little things you have to pack up and load in the final days. Not gonna lie, these last few boxes have been a hodgepodge of things. Shoes thrown in with a trash can, pots, and a rug? SURE! 💁🏻‍♀️

I know I will fully regret this decision when we are unpacking. 😂 Please say a prayer for us as we finish loading up in the morning and then make the long drive up to Knoxville.

I can’t wait to show y’all the house! It’s definitely going to be a bittersweet day tomorrow but we are trusting God’s plan and know He will take care of us. For everything there is a season, and while we never planned to move back to Madison to begin with, I’m glad we did for a time to make some beautiful memories!
