It’s Christmas Eve! It’s Christmas Eve! Bobby and I (and the girls) are at my parents house for a few days to celebrate. Today will be lots of baking, lots of Christmas music, and of course, a fire in the fireplace. We are going to visit my grandmother and then go to church later this evening, and then my sister an her husband will probably come over. I can’t believe the holiday snuck up on us so fast, I’m excited but also sad that so soon it will all be over. Yes I am one of “those” sentimental people.
On Thursday night, Karen and her husband Jason stopped in for the night at our house on their way back from Disney World. We took them out to our favorite Mexican restaurant, and Karen and I did a lot of chatting until late into the night. It was great to catch up!
Please ignore my wild hair and no makeup.
I was sad they had to go so soon, but we also had a lot of packing up to do to get to my parents!
Last night, we did a lot of chatting and catching up by the fire, followed by a game of scrabble flash. We ate our favorite pizza from a place called Marco’s, and then all watched The Santa Clause. So far it’s been a great holiday weekend, and I can’t wait to have some more Christmas fun!
I hope wherever you are, that you are enjoying time with your loved ones. I love y’all!
