Yesterday, Bobby and I spent the day relaxing and hanging out. We haven’t hung out on a weekend together in many many weeks. We watched football, ate breakfast outside, and ran some errands. Today is church and hopefully painting part of the fence, and of COURSE Saints football. To go along with my lazy weekend, I thought today would be a good day to talk about my relaxing, lazy vacation some more. (You like that segue, huh?)
So, we left off with a day at Typhoon Lagoon and a dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse. The next day, we woke up and went for a quick run before breakfast and hitting the pool. Our friends were finally arriving, and I was so excited to spend the rest of our vacation with them!
While they went to Downtown Disney to run an errand, we hung out at the pool and played a game of name that tune with other guests, and of course Mrs. Competitive had to win, and…we won. We gave our prize to a little boy in the lounge chairs next to us. We have enough pirate paraphernalia at home thank you very much.
That night, we headed to the Wilderness Lodge to eat dinner at Artist Point.
It took Jen and I four takes to get this picture right. yeah…
Jen and I both love their Mac n cheese, but they took it off the menu! I think our waitress felt sorry for the pregnant lady craving it, so she asked if the chef could make it anyway. We all shared a giant bowl!
…and had a major fail trying to take a picture of it.
I also ordered a steak. What’s new.
Good times were had, and we did the usual partaking of desserts in the lounge before bed. Now if only I could convince someone to make me little desserts before bed every night…
QOTD: Are you more of a lay by the pool vacationer or an active vacationer (excursions, hiking, exploring, etc.)
Kristyn says
I am totally a toes in the sand, do nothing vacationer!
Kelly says
Both. Depends on the vacation. I have learned to relax more while at WDW and am completely do nothing on a vacation on a cruise.

So much fun! It’s scary how much I’ve grown though in 3.5 weeks. Yikes!
