Disney Fantasy Part 6: April 2013

June 27, 2013 | Disney, family, Travel

We left off with a great day in Cozumel on my last installment. The next day, was a sea day, and had big plans to do a lot of nothing. We slept in, ate breakfast, and headed to the pool where we parked all morning with our books. We ate lunch and then played goofy golf! Look who even made an appearance. I was VERY excited.

The wind had started to pick up making it very hard to play. After we ate a buffet lunch, the clouds started to roll in.

I want to say at some time during the day we say Oz the Great and Powerful in 3D, and I’m sure we took a nap at some point. Honestly it was just a lazy day and so wonderful! (I think we made it to the gym, too?)

By evening, the rain had started and the boat was doing a little rocking which made me nervous, but wasn’t too bad. They closed off some of the decks for a little while because it was so dangerous with the wind.

It was semi formal night, so we got all gussied up to go to dinner at the Royal Court.

This is Bobby’s favorite night of the cruise, because it’s lobster night! He had four or five…I can’t remember.

He was a happy boy.

After dinner we headed back to the adults area to watch a comedian before calling it a night.

Up next week: Our last day. Castaway Cay!

QOTD: What would be your ideal sea day?

Looks like you had a fabulous time! I love your dress 🙂 We saw Oz too. The kids really liked it. It was definitely a different role for James Franco. I would love to do a disney cruise at some point with my kids!

I was so tired of dragging around heavy, clunky ba I was so tired of dragging around heavy, clunky bags on my trips! ✈️

So I invested in the Carry-On from @hulkenbag! It’s lightweight, sleek, and glides effortlessly wherever I go. It has 4 pockets and opens from the top, so it’s very easy to grab things in flight! I’ve got room for everything I need and can fit all my devices, snacks, books, and a neck pillow seamlessly inside.

I always pair my Carry-On with the Schlep Stack because who has time to dig through a messy bag? 👜✨

Trust me, Hulken is a total game-changer!

Let’s kick off 2026 with a little bit of wellness, and a whole lot of humor. I just wanted the restaurant experience at home, ok? 😝

The beaches of Alabama are the kind of place where the days feel slow, the kids are happy, and you don’t feel like you need a vacation after your vacation.

Alabama beaches in the spring just make sense.

2016 was a VERY big year for us. Moving states. Running multiple businesses. Being accused of getting a divorce. 🤣🫣 People are wild, yall.

Looking back they were some hard, wild times and I now know more hard times were ahead for us, but I wouldn’t change any of it. I know it’s part of our story, God had a plan, and there is a reason for it all. Just gotta keep keeping on! ❤️
