I know I know. I promised a runDisney post today. I am so sorry! Working out a couple of kinks with my post and information. Shooting for tomorrow. Please donโt hate me! I just want it to be perfect.
Instead I shall tell you about my Easter Weekend. Poor Bobby somehow pulled his back lifting weights on Thursday morning. it was hurting him, but not too badly. By Friday, he couldnโt walk straight and was in a lot of pain. He went to the chiropractor and was told he had a back spasm. He was treated there, and then went and got a massage before we headed to my parents house for the weekend. The weather was so beautiful that we sat outside and ate dinner. My dad fried shrimp and fish (which I didnโt eat of course) and we just relaxed on the deck.
Dad is way cool in his backwards hat.
Saturday, we of course got up at 5:00 and drove into Downtown to run the Crescent City Classic.
2009 and 2013. Funny stuff.
After the race we both took wonderful naps, and had dinner outside again with my parents. So far a great relaxing weekend! Sunday morning we got up and went to church. I wore my new Easter dress from the Banana Republic outlet.
Just thought Iโd throw my favorite picture ever in the mix. Bahahaha!
Ok, where were we?
After church some extended family came over and we ate lunch and hung out outside again and ate dessert. Lots of great things to choose from!
We had a great relaxing weekend with family, it was just what we needed. I hope you all had a happy Easter, too!
QOTD: Any Easter traditions? Special foods? Egg hunt? My mom has these Easter egg plates we eat dessert out of every year!

Love the dress! Perfect for spring!
Love the dress it is such a pretty colour!
I’m in love with your dress!
DANG WOMAN ๐ you clean up purdy….
Your dress is gorgeous! We had friends over after church for Easter lunch. And then we had an egg hunt for the kids followed by dessert. It was a great day!
such a cute easter dress! the color looks great on you!
What a fun weekend! I love your Easter dress!
So glad y’all had a great weekend! Love your Easter dress and those desserts look yummy! The monkey picture was SO funny!
My sister and I went out for an Easter run. We haven’t run together since Christmas time, and it was fun to push each other. After 5 miles we headed to our Grandma’s for Easter dinner….and my favorite Banana Pudding!! Looks like you had a relaxing weekend!! I could have used a nap! ๐
Love the dress- you look so pretty!
I’m praying Wyatt outgrows his egg allergy by next year so we can do an egg hunt and dye eggs. I don’t want to confuse him and tell him eggs are ok sometimes, but not to eat, if he stays allergic.
My MIL always makes my girls a cake shaped like a bunny – she’s been doing that since my hubby was a little kid and they love it! Tastes pretty good too ๐ I LOVE, LOVE your dress – wonder if I can find one in my size…
Living as an expat makes it too hard to keep traditions! My apartment here is so tiny all my seasonal decorations are in storage back in Seattle ๐ Someday I’ll live in the states again and I’ll go nuts! I’ll have a lot of lost time to make up for!!
I love that dress! I’m jealous that you had such warm weather. We had snow on the ground.
I am in love with that dress!! Holy Moly! I also love how your bunny ears have made it through the years. ๐ I’m glad you had a good Easter!
We had a great Easter weekend. Love your dress too!! Check out my Easter post at http://www.brittsrunningstyle.blogspot.com
Egg hunts, egg decorating, and early morning Church and brunch are traditions of Easter weekend for my family. I still have dye on my hands-ekk!
Love your dress! I just went to Banana Republic Outlet this past Friday and got a few new dresses. I always shop at the outlet rather than the store, always great deals and so many cute options to pick from.
