Happy Birthday Bobby!

June 6, 2010 | Uncategorized

Today was Bobby’s 27th Birthday.
The day started out with me making him breakfast in bed and giving him his presents (a couple blu ray’s and running shoes of course!) He ate on the birthday plate (we have a lot of traditions!)

Ok so we have this running joke we have had ever since Bobby’s 22nd birthday. I had gone into his apartment and decorated his room and made these signs and all this stuff for when he got home. Well, we kept the signs, and for my birthday a month later, he flipped the one around that said Bobby and wrote “Heather” in marker, and used all the same signs. on two of the signs I had “22” in glitter, and he even took a small scrap of paper and changed it to my age and paperclipped it to the sign. It was hilarious, and I called him lazy! Well, we have kept those stupid signs and put them out for each other’s b-days ever since and just change the slip of paper with the new number. So this morning I decorated the living room and you can see the signs I originally made 5 years ago!

here we are before we left for church

We went to church, came home and I cooked spaghetti for lunch and we vegged out for awhile, then went back to the church for leadership training. Then we went to coldstone for birthday ice cream! I got cheesecake with strawberries mixed in.

Now we are home just hanging out enjoying the last bit of birthday!
Today was rest day for me, I am so sore from my workout video I did! I did some foam rolling earlier and man did it hurt!!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

QOTD: Do you have birthday traditions?

That is too cute about your birthdays!! I totally would have proclaimed his laziness as well lol I don’t really have any birthday traditions except that every year, instead of a birthday cake, I get an angel food cake with strawberries and whipped cream. Mmmm! So good every time.

That counts as a tradition, how fun!

I really thought struggling with my skin was just I really thought struggling with my skin was just something I had to deal with as I got older or got stressed. I kept trying random products instead of actually being consistent with ingredients that made sense for my skin. 🫶🏻

Lately I’ve been using personalized skincare through Mochi Health and it’s been so much easier having products targeted to what my skin actually needs instead of just guessing every time I break out.

I started noticing little signs during my normal day. Just occasional bloating, gas, and that slightly “off” feeling. So instead of ignoring it, I listened. I slowed down, moved more consistently, and added Align Probiotic to my routine.

It’s one capsule a day and the #1 doctor-recommended probiotic brand for over 15 years‡. I started taking Align to help relieve my occasional gas, bloating, and stomach discomfort* and now I feel more comfortable moving through my day. @alignprobiotic

And now… it finally will be. 🤍

We’re not leaving Tennessee, just making a local move that puts us closer to my daughter’s school, closer to our day-to-day life, and honestly closer to the version of life I’ve been hoping for since we moved here. (Aka not so much time in the car!)

Still Knoxville. New chapter. Lots of boxes. Please pray. 🏡📦

Between dogs, snacks that never make it to a plate, and whatever is happening in my entryway on a daily basis… I needed something that could actually keep up in one go. This one’s been doing the heavy lifting so I’m not doing 12 different cleanups for the same mess.

Life doesn’t happen in neat, single-surface moments. From pet hair to crumbs to tracked-in grass, real homes have layered messes. The BISSELL PowerClean DualBrush™ is designed to handle it all in one pass without switching tools or going over the same spot twice.

Promotion: List Price $359.99, on sale for $259.99 ($100 off) from 4/5–5/30. Limited time only, don’t miss it. Link in bio to shop while the deal lasts 👀
