My 8 year old daughter believes in magic, which I love, especially around the holidays. It’s a really cute and fun concept for a child’s toy, and since Emma Kate is really into wands and magic right now, (she is reading Harry Potter so is all about the magic!) I knew it would be so perfect for us to try out! Thanks to Magic Mixies, children all over the world get to experience the Wonder of Real Magic, and cast spells with their very own Mystical Friend. If you have a magic lover in your house, I am sure they will love playing with this unique toy. Your Magic Mixie comes in two colors, pink or blue, ready for your child to play with. There are over 80 lights, sounds, and interactions to enjoy with your child and your Magic Mixie.
To awaken your new friend and cast the Creation Spell, you will need to master the correct wand movement and say the magic word for that step. Then summon real magical mist before giving your Magic Mixie its voice and color! There are several steps of the spell you have to cast, so there is a lot of build up and anticipation before the Magic Mixie appears, which in my opinion, just adds to the fun of it all!
I was super impressed with the mist yall, I was nervous about how that was going to work/if it would be like she thought it would, and there was SO much mist that surpassed my expectations! Everything went beautifully and Emma Kate loved the whole experience of revealing her Mixie, and casting the steps of the spell. (Don’t worry moms and dads, there are step by step instructions to do this, something else I was a little nervous about, but it was super easy and straightforward for us!)
With the magic and fun only just beginning, use your magic wand to interact with your Mixie by performing spells, playing a game together and having your fortune told! Emma Kate has spent tons of time asking her Mixie questions about her fortune, and playing the game! They like to cuddle together and she loves how interactive it is and using the wand.
There are so many interactions after your Magic Mixie comes out to play, and you can even add mist back into the crystal ball again and cast spells again and again. (This is seriously such a cool feature, usually with toys once you “wake them up” or “get them out” that’s it, and you cannot do it again.)
You can even use your Magical Crystal Ball as a Night-Light by your child’s bed for a magical bedtime routine. So many cool things after the initial “surprise” is over, which I love! Also it doesn’t hurt that this little creature is super adorable. I highly recommend this as a “wow” gift for your kids, but don’t wait, shop soon! It’s going to be a BIG hit and you don’t want to miss out on all the fun. (Ok ok, so I had just as much fun as my daughter with this thing!)
