How Can You Give Back To The World?

September 15, 2021 | motivation

The world isn’t perfect, sure, but the truth is that you’d probably rather be living at this period than at any point in history. The “old days” may have been a simpler time, but they also did without a lot of things that we enjoy today to make life easier. So it’s always a good idea to think about how lucky we are. And think about this, too: you’d probably find life much more difficult if you didn’t have other people to help you, right? You are not, after all, catching your own food, building your own shelter, or making your own clothes (unless it’s for fun!) Therefore, it’s a good idea to look at how you can give back to the world to help others not as fortunate. In this post, we’re going to look at some ways that you can make a positive difference in the world.

Everyday Goodness

There are things you can do that will have a global, long-lasting impact. But you don’t necessarily need to act on a global scale all the time. One of the best things you can do is simply to act good on a day to day basis. Those little acts of kindness can have far-reaching implications, after all! Whether it’s just acting in a friendly way or smiling at a stranger, or helping other people in need in your community, we should always be looking around for ways to put goodness into the world.

Learn About Others

It’s possible that you’re one of the extremely lucky ones, one of the people that the world is more or less set up to accommodate. It is not the same for all people everywhere. While you can’t change the entire world with a click of your fingers, you can help to move things in the right direction by learning about the people who don’t have it quite as good as you do. Whether it’s learning about disabilities, or about people who live with less than you on the other side of the world, a little bit of knowledge can lead to a lot of understanding — and that can be powerful.

Invest In Someone’s Future

It’s up to all of us to ensure that future generations have a bright future. While we often make sure that’s the case for the young people who are around us, they’re not the only ones who need help. In some parts of the world, they need additional assistance. And this is something that you can help with! There are some organizations, such as Our Little Roses, that invest in young people’s futures around the world. If you have some extra cash, then think about donating to this worthy cause.

Give Your Time

If you don’t have money to spare, then how about giving your time? No matter where you live, there’ll always be plenty of organizations that could do with a little bit of help. It could be just a matter of getting in touch with them and asking what they need. Our church is always doing local missions projects or helping when disasters such as hurricanes strike. Studies have shown that volunteering can have a hugely positive impact on the volunteer’s life, and, of course, the people that you help. And all you’ll have given is a little bit of your spare time, which can make a huge difference in someone’s life.

So many people I know follow and like posts and st So many people I know follow and like posts and stories from content creators, but when it’s people they know in real life….forget about it. All of the sudden, we just don’t need or deserve the support. We just get lurkers. 💔

Women, I encourage you in 2026 to find a table where women champion other women. And I encourage all the ladies here to be a girl’s girl. There is room for everyone, and we ALL need a little support, even those that look like they have it all together.

Let’s commit to helping each other on AND offline. A simple smile, an “I love your dress” or “your kid did great in the school play” or “hang in there, you got this!” Goes a long way.

I will never understand people going out of their way to intentionally bypass a person online or in real life. People matter. It’s a tough time of year for a lot of people, so let’s all act like the friends we claim to be and be there for each other however we can. ❤️

This one is great for busy folks who want to make a “special” drink without too much fuss. 🎄

It’s literally just water frozen in the bottom of a glass with some rosemary taped in it. I waited a few hours the poured in some Prosecco and added in edible glitter (you can use multiple colors!) pretty and delicious, and keeps your drink cold! Cheers! 🥂 ❄️
