I know I haven’t been on social media as much this past week, but it’s been a little crazy around here. My grandmother who was very sick and in hospice since last Monday, passed away Wednesday evening. She was only 81, and my last living grandparent.
My parents are out of the country right now, so we are not having the funeral for a week until they get back. My maw maw broke her hip about a month ago, had surgery, and was in rehab when her kidneys began to fail and she was too weak for dialysis.
Bobby and I drove to New Orleans to see her in the ICU, she was basically in a coma not speaking, moving, or responding. That is the last time I saw her, two weeks ago, as she was brought to hospice the next day and has been there since.
A huge thank you to everyone who has been thinking of us and praying for us during this time, we appreciate you so much, and I hope you understand my absence on the blog/social media over the next week or so until this is all settled.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. The pictures you selected are beautiful, you are so fortunate to have known her into your adult years. How wonderful, she saw you married, happy, and now expecting. A special angel will always looking out for your unborn child, all through his or her life.
