Mother’s Day Gift Guide 2023

April 26, 2023 | Faith, holidays

Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Rizen Jewelry, however, all opinions are my own.

Mother’s Day is a time to honor the women in our lives who have shown us unconditional love and support. For mothers who hold their faith and family close to their hearts, I have come up with a few items that would make beautiful and heartfelt gifts.

1.) Jewelry from Rizen Jewelry:

there are few gifts as meaningful as jewelry that symbolizes their devotion to God and their loved ones. Rizen Jewelry offers a stunning collection of faith-inspired pieces that are perfect for this occasion. (Use code HEATHER10 for $10 off at Rizen Jewelry!)

One of the standout pieces in Rizen’s collection is the Calvary Necklace.  This necklace is a perfect gift for mothers who cherish their faith and find comfort in knowing that they are never alone. The necklace features three pendant cross motifs. The center cross is slightly larger and framed by two smaller crosses.

Another beautiful piece of jewelry that would make a great Mother’s Day gift is the Crown of Thorns Bracelet. This bracelet is a powerful symbol of Christ’s sacrifice and is a beautiful way to honor the mother in your life. A classic style simply set on naturally dyed cotton cords hand braided with love.

For mothers who prefer a simpler look, the We Trust in God Bracelet is another great option. This bracelet is a reminder that God is always with us and that we can find strength in our faith, even during difficult times. The cross is reversible, engraved ā€œWE TRUST IN GODā€ on one side and finely polished on the other. The cotton cords are hand braided, and naturally dyed in red, white and blue hues.

Finally, the Be Magnified Bracelet is a beautiful piece of jewelry that celebrates the power of prayer.  This bracelet is a wonderful way to show your appreciation for the mother in your life and to remind her that her prayers are heard and valued. You can wear the hand braided peaceful red, white and blue cotton cord bracelet on its own; or stack it up and layer with the Red Crown of Thorns and We Trust In God bracelets for the ultimate statement stack.

*For every M4M bracelet sold, Rizen will donate 10% of the purchase price to Christian Ministries.

2.) Framed Letter:

In addition to jewelry, a framed letter from a child or grandchild is a heartfelt and personal gift that any mother or grandmother would treasure. Here is a beautiful idea I found online.

3.) Shirt About Being Mom or Grandma:

A T-shirt that showcases her faith and family can also be a thoughtful and practical gift that she can wear with pride. Here is a cute option I know I would love:

4.) Special Painting:

A couple of years ago I gave my mom a framed painting of me, her, Emma Kate, and her mother who passed away right before I was born from Paint Your Life. It was my favorite gift I ever gave to her, and I know she cherishes it.

Mother’s Day is a beautiful time of year no matter what gift you choose to should your love. Whether you choose jewelry like the Calvary Necklace, Crown of Thorns Bracelet, We Trust in God Bracelet, or Be Magnified Bracelet from Rizen, or a Shirt, painting, or framed letter, your gift will be a beautiful reminder of the mother’s love and devotion to her faith and family.

We didn’t set out looking for a ā€œperfectā€ trip… we We didn’t set out looking for a ā€œperfectā€ trip… we just needed a break from the noise.
What we found in Florida was something better than that. #ad

Our first stop in Auburndale was all about slowing down in the best way. We stayed in a cozy tiny home at Camp Margaritaville (you can also stay in an RV!). We enjoyed coffee on the porch, our daughter loved the pool and waterslide (there is even a splash zone for the littles!), and at night we slowed things down with s’mores instead of screens. It felt like nature + comfort + family time all finally in the same place. They have so many other amenities like mini golf, golf cart rentals, pickleball, a playground, cornhole, and more. Nearby, we explored the Florida Children’s Museum and had incredible food and drinks at Smith’s American Tavern and Black & Brew Coffee.

Then, we headed over to Fort Myers to experience a completely different side of the state. Shelling walks at sunrise, beach volleyball, pool cabanas, and the kind of Gulf sunsets that make everyone go quiet for a minute. Direct beach access at the Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers made it effortless to go from ā€œlet’s check it outā€ to toes in the sand in minutes. There were several restaurants on property, so we never even got in our car. That plus live music, fire pits, the spa, and lawn games made it easy to want to stay put and relax.

What stood out most wasn’t just the scenery… it was how easy it was to actually be together here. No rushing or overplanning. That’s the true Floridays feeling for me. Laid-back, a little unexpected, and exactly what we didn’t know we needed. šŸŒ“ā˜€ļø

One of our favorite family activities in Pigeon Forge because you can snow tube year-round, rain or shine, without worrying about the weather outside.

My daughter could do the tubing hill over and over, and the indoor snow play area makes it even more fun. Honestly such a good break from the summer heat. Plus, it’s super close to nearby attractions like Dollywood and several mountain coasters.

Here is my favorite in park Disneyland character e Here is my favorite in park Disneyland character experience: The Plaza Inn character breakfast. Here are a few things to know:

✨ Meet Minnie before you even enter the restaurant and get photos with her + a photopass photographer.
✨ Food is all you can eat. Minnie waffles, bacon, eggs, pastries, fruit, and more!
✨ Multiple characters visit your table throughout the meal.
✨ Reservations are a must and can book up quickly!

This was such a fun way to start a park day and meet several characters without spending part of the day waiting in character lines.

Getting in a walk or run when I can. Actually drinking my water. Sticking to a skincare routine instead of overthinking it. Paying attention to my hair and scalp instead of just throwing it up and moving on. Nothing extreme, just consistency in the basics.

I’ve also been using Mochi Health for personalized skincare and hair support, and it’s made it way easier to stay on track without guessing what my skin or hair needs.

If you want to try it, there’s $40 off your first month through the link in my bio. @joinmochi #joinmochi mochihealth

Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro took part in Cork to Fork on the Tennessee Whiskey Trail, and every bite felt like a love letter to local flavor. From bourbon-glazed pork belly to a warm cinnamon-bourbon bread pudding that honestly didn’t stand a chance at our table… this was one of those meals you remember.

Mountain views, chef-driven dishes, and whiskey worked right into the menu in the best way. šŸ˜‹
