Moving makes me tired

March 7, 2011 | Uncategorized

Hello everyone! Just a quick android post to let you know I am still alive. The internet Guy was supposed to come Saturday afternoon (the day we moved) but we drove down in an awful storm and So he couldn’t come. We got a call yesterday and apparently the all day rain put them behind so they can’t come till WEDNESDAY. Um. No. I work from home on my computer.
Ā Ā Ā  So they are supposed to come today to just do internet and Wednesday they will do Directv. Fine. Whatever. I just need my internet!
Ā Ā Ā  We had a few hiccups but we made it down here. As soon as I have computer access I will post the story and photos. One thing I will say is I feel like I ran a Marathon! I don’t think I was this sore after the disney Marathon. Seriously.
Ā  Anyway please forgive my absence I will be back hopefully tonight or tomorrow! Have a great Monday everyone!Ā

Cant wait to see the pics and stuff!!!! Ive never ran a marathon (yet) but I want to.. I did race this weekend under horrible conditions. I said even though Ive not ran a marathon yet it probably feels close to this.

Hope you “recover” soon and get everything back on track! I know how irritating it can be dealing with moving

Moving is EXHAUSTING. Good luck getting everything set up, and try to get some rest in the midst of the craziness.

Moving is absolutely exhausting. My refrain during our move (after being inour first house for 15 years) was either:
    1. I think I’d rather go back to Iraq than ever move again OR
    2. The only was I am ever moving out of this house is feet first.
’nuff said. …. (well, just remember that the first thing to get unpacked should be the cork screw!!!!)

Women, I encourage you in 2026 to find a table where women champion other women. And I encourage all the ladies here to be a girl’s girl. There is room for everyone, and we ALL need a little support, even those that look like they have it all together.

Let’s commit to helping each other on AND offline. A simple smile, an ā€œI love your dressā€ or ā€œyour kid did great in the school playā€ or ā€œhang in there, you got this!ā€ Goes a long way.

I will never understand people going out of their way to intentionally bypass a person online or in real life. People matter. It’s a tough time of year for a lot of people, so let’s all act like the friends we claim to be and be there for each other however we can. ā¤ļø
