Spring Break Pictures

March 25, 2010 | Uncategorized

So it took me long enough, but I finally uploaded my pictures, here are just a few from my Disneyworld trip last week! It came and went in a flash, I can’t believe it’s already over! Now I am looking forward to my cruise in June. Yay!

Ok so that’s all you get! I have a ton more but I am not going to sit here and upload them all to the blog, sorry!!!

I had a good gym workout today, 25 minutes on the elliptical, going forwards and backwards (obviously not at the same time!) and then I ran one mile on the treadmill between a 6.0 and 7.5. It was hard for me after the 25 min. on the elliptical! Felt good to sprint though! I also did a few arm exercises at home with my weights.

Glad tomorrow is Friday. This weekend I have a wedding to go to Saturday, and hoping to get in a good run in Saturday morning. Tomorrow it may rain again, and is going to be a slight bit cooler. Ok, have a good night everyone!

Hey Heather! Looks like you had another great trip…and I am so impressed that you still fit in a run with all the other competition for your time and interest at WDW!

I can’t believe how young your mother looks!!! You too really look a lot alike!

So was the switch to GF planned, or did you get homesick?

I would really love to hear a mini-trip report! Post more if you get the time!

    Cheers, Trish

haha yes yes you caught me..we did get homesick!! I really tried to like somwhere else, but it wasn’t the same!
Oh all week people kept thinking that we were sister! She is actually 54. So does she look really young or do I look really old?! lol!
maybe if I get some time I will post more about the trip!

Ha, ha! That is funny. Our good friends who always stay at the GF booked the Beach Club the 1st week of December. I thought they would like it, but it wasn’t the same for them either. They tried switching back, but there was no availability. Were you able to switch and just pay an upgrade fee with no penalty on your BW ressie?
And I wld say that it is definitely your mom who looks younger, not you who looks older! LOL!

      March 28, 2010 at 7:26 am

ya! luckily they just charged us the balance minus wha we had already paid for BW, so it was like an upgrade charge. It worked out really well, but it was hard to find a room at first, took a little searching and patience!

Using the Braun IPL has completely changed my routine, it’s the at-home alternative to salon laser hair removal that gives me long-lasting results without the appointments or pain. This holiday season, I’m making my life a little easier with gift cards from Kroger. I grab a DoorDash card in-store, clip both the 4X and bonus 1X digital coupons in the Kroger app, and then I’m earning 5x fuel points while powering through the holiday hustle. 🎄

These architectural gems mix rustic charm with modern design—think soaring wood ceilings, giant picture windows, and a dreamy soaker tub that makes you never want to leave. 😍

We even brought our dogs along (yes, it’s dog-friendly!) and watched deer wander by through the trees. 🐾

Valley Bear Farms is tucked in the mountains of North Carolina, surrounded by peaceful forest views and plenty to explore. The property has hiking trails, a cozy general store, and other on-site amenities that make it feel like a little mountain village all its own. ⛰️

If you’re craving a nature-filled, beautifully designed getaway where you can truly unwind, these A-Frame cabins are it.👍🏻

The Cosmo JrTrack 5 Smartwatch has been the perfect in-between for us — she can call and text the people I approve, I can see where she is with GPS, and it has school mode, SOS, activity tracking, and even a little camera she loves.

We got the Holiday Bundle with the screen protector and LaunchPad stand, and it honestly just makes the whole thing easier.

If you want the link, comment “watch” and I’ll have it sent straight to your inbox. 🎄⌚️✨

🎄 POV: Our Weekend Holiday Getaway in Pigeon Forge 🎄 POV: Our Weekend Holiday Getaway in Pigeon Forge
There’s just something about the holidays in the Smoky Mountains — the lights, the laughter, the togetherness — it all feels extra magical. #sponsored

Our first stop was Dolly Parton’s Stampede, the world’s most visited dinner attraction, and it’s easy to see why. The pre-show in the Stampede Saloon had us singing along to country and Christmas classics before we sat down for a four-course feast that could rival any holiday dinner. 🐴

Then the arena came alive with 32 magnificent horses, trick riders, and dancers bringing the spirit of the season to life with a friendly North vs. South Pole rivalry, toys that come alive, and even Santa arriving in a horse-drawn sleigh. Pure holiday joy from start to finish! 🎅🏻

Next up was the Titanic Museum Attraction, beautifully transformed into an Elegant Edwardian Christmas, giving Titanic the Christmas voyage she never got. We each received a boarding pass with the name of a real passenger, explored the Grand Staircase, and even touched the icy 28-degree water. The interactive exhibits made history come alive, and it was such an emotional, unforgettable experience for all of us.

And to end the weekend, we dove into adventure at Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show. Led by Captain Blackbeard himself, the Crimson and Sapphire crews battled for treasure with acrobatics, mermaids, fire stunts, and even a sea lion! Between the four-course pirate feast and the jaw-dropping stunts, it was nonstop fun and the perfect grand finale to our Pigeon Forge weekend. 🏴‍☠️

This trip reminded me that time together really is the best gift. Add Pigeon Forge and these incredible attractions to your holiday must-do list this season. ❤️

Comment “Pigeon Forge” and I’ll send you links to grab your tickets before they sell out!
