More Family Time

We are headed out of town to Louisiana today for my grandmother’s funeral t be held tomorrow. I was busy cleaning up the house and packing yesterday, so I didn’t get a chance to write, but thought I would leave you with this link. It has some pictures (look below the main picture it says “view photo gallery”) of my grandmother, you can see how beautiful she was, and see some pictures of me as a wee one, too.

We have neighbors watching the house, so I don’t have to worry about anything and can just go be with the family. I will be back Monday, I promise I have some good posts this week. A couple of fun reviews of great products and another pregnancy update! I apologize for the lack of consistency lately.

Have a great weekend.

I know I haven’t been on social media as much this past week, but it’s been a little crazy around here. My grandmother who was very sick and in hospice since last Monday, passed away Wednesday evening. She was only 81, and my last living grandparent.

My parents are out of the country right now, so we are not having the funeral for a week until they get back. My maw maw broke her hip about a month ago, had surgery, and was in rehab when her kidneys began to fail and she was too weak for dialysis.

Bobby and I drove to New Orleans to see her in the ICU, she was basically in a coma not speaking, moving, or responding. That is the last time I saw her, two weeks ago, as she was brought to hospice the next day and has been there since.

A huge thank you to everyone who has been thinking of us and praying for us during this time, we appreciate you so much, and I hope you understand my absence on the blog/social media over the next week or so until this is all settled.

I hope everyone has a great weekend.
