January 27, 2014 | Disney, fitness, holidays, Race Recaps, runDisney, running

The next leg of my runDisney Dopey Challenge journey was the 10k. I was excited for this race, because it was the first Disney World 10k, so this course was brand new. (If you missed my 5k recap you can check it out as well).   Can you spot the bottom of my tail in the above ...

Dopey Challenge 2014: Family Fun Run 5k

January 24, 2014 | Disney, fitness, Race Recaps, runDisney, running

My first leg of the runDisney Dopey Challenge (running 48.6 miles in four days) was running the family fun run 5k. I was excited because this race started later than other runDisney races, yes, at the late hour of 6:15 in the morning. This meant I got to “sleep in” until after 4:00! I decided ...

May 27, 2013 | fitness, Race Recaps, running

On Saturday, Bobby participated in his first duathlon. This one consisted of a two mile run, followed by an 11.2 mile bike ride, then another 2 mile run. Luckily, the race was five minutes up the road at the community center. I shot a video while I was there, you can check it out on yesterday's ...

Bobby’s First Triathlon

April 12, 2013 | fitness, Race Recaps, running

Last Saturday, Bobby raced in his very first sprint triathlon. Keep in mind he decided to do this ONE MONTH before the event, and got his bike then, and his wetsuit oh…three days prior to the race. (Drove me NUTS since I am such a planned out person!) Anyway, The race was in our ...

Crescent City Classic 10k Race Recap

April 1, 2013 | Race Recaps, running

On Saturday Bobby and I ran the 35th anniversary of the Crescent City Classic in New Orleans. We woke up early to drive from my parents house into the city. We weren’t sure how bad the traffic would be with over 20,000 runners so we wanted to get there in plenty of time. We parked at the ...

An Interview With Sean Astin

March 20, 2013 | Disney, runDisney

During the runDisney Princess half marathon weekend, I had the chance to sit down with Sean Astin (from Lord of the Rings, the Goonies, and Rudy), and talk with him about the race. My plan was to run into the hospitality suite for a snack, but I ended up chatting with Sean for a couple ...

This past summer, we learned how real dog anxiety This past summer, we learned how real dog anxiety can be. (Ad)

After a really stressful week with a new sitter (who wasn’t a great fit and left her alone far too long), Dolly started coping the only way she knew how — nonstop licking. What started as “normal anxious behavior” turned into a raw wound that required a vet visit, meds, and constant care.

We changed a few things in her routine, and we also added NaturVet Daily Emotional Support Calming Supplements into her daily support. The difference has been incredible. She’s settled, sleeping better, no more licking, and truly back to her happy, goofy self.

I’m sharing this for anyone whose dog struggles with stress, separation, or big changes. You’re not overreacting. Their anxiety is real — and it deserves real support. 🤍

You can find @naturvet Daily Emotional Support Calming Supplements at select Walmart stores, and they’ve been such a gentle, helpful part of Dolly’s healing.

I was so tired of dragging around heavy, clunky ba I was so tired of dragging around heavy, clunky bags on my trips! ✈️

So I invested in the Carry-On from @hulkenbag! It’s lightweight, sleek, and glides effortlessly wherever I go. It has 4 pockets and opens from the top, so it’s very easy to grab things in flight! I’ve got room for everything I need and can fit all my devices, snacks, books, and a neck pillow seamlessly inside.

I always pair my Carry-On with the Schlep Stack because who has time to dig through a messy bag? 👜✨

Trust me, Hulken is a total game-changer!

Today is National Plan Your Vacation Day 🐚 (ad) T Today is National Plan Your Vacation Day 🐚 (ad)

The beaches of Alabama are the kind of place where the days feel slow, the kids are happy, and you don’t feel like you need a vacation after your vacation.

Alabama beaches in the spring just make sense.
