The Great Medal Caper!

August 2, 2012 | Uncategorized

On Tuesday, runDisney announced a fun and cute little challenge, to help find the missing marathon medal! What happened to it? Check out my video to find out more!

Below is the official runDisney video explaining the challenge

Come help us find Donald in The Great Medal Caper!

HELP US REVEAL MICKEY’S 20th ANNIVERSARYWALT DISNEY WORLD® MARATHON MEDAL
Our old friend Donald Duck caused a bit of trouble earlier today when security footage captured him running off with Mickey’s 20th Anniversary Walt Disney World Marathon medal design!

Turns out he got a bit jealous and loved it so much, he hit the road to find a designer of his own. Little did he know, we’ve already created a new Half Marathon medal for him too!

Join runDisney Fans all over the world in the search for Donald at the runDisney Facebook page. He’s already been spotted on the West Coast, and only your “Fan Magic” can help us find him to reveal the brand new Half Marathon medal and reveal Mickey’s special 20th Anniversary Walt Disney World Marathon medal design. In addition to seeing this morning’s breaking news, you’ll also unlock a few runDisney goodies along the way!

Don’t wait too long, these races are filling up! Here are the current capacity percentages:

Marathon (78% Full), Half Marathon (67% Full) Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge (87% Full).

Check out runDisney on Facebook and Twitter!

I really like the look of last years 15th anniversary Donald medal with the larger head and and painted or acrylic colors on it. I would to see something sort of similar but a little more special to celebrate the 20th anniversary.

How on earth are we going to run 39.3 miles in about 30 hours? Are you just as scared for this as I am?

My ideal medal would be a 24K gold medal shaped like the sun with diamonds and emeralds encrusted on the edge with Chinese silk around the neck. Ok, Ok… I think Donald duck would pretty darn awesome!

It’s still Thanksgiving weekend so this counts as It’s still Thanksgiving weekend so this counts as a Thanksgiving post, right? 🦃🫶🏻

I took the day off on Thursday and then worked a ton Friday, EK had bball Saturday and then we went out of town. I realized I never posted for turkey day! 😜

I have so much to be thankful for, most days I feel completely undeserving. God has been good to us, even in the days that don’t feel so good. His plans may not make sense at the time, but thankfully He is the one that sees the whole picture, not us!

We are going into the Christmas season with hearts full of gratitude and love as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. This is the most special and my favorite time of year! Let the celebrating continue!

Lastly, I am thankful for all of YOU! For liking, commenting on, and watching my content over the years. Without you, my career doesn’t exist and I am beyond thankful for the opportunities this job has given me. So THANK YOU! 🫶🏻

Using the Braun IPL has completely changed my routine, it’s the at-home alternative to salon laser hair removal that gives me long-lasting results without the appointments or pain. I started seeing results after my second use, and now I get to spend that extra time doing things I actually love — like traveling, family time, and coffee runs ☕✨

If you’ve been thinking about trying IPL, now’s the time, @BraunBeautyUS Black Friday sale is happening Nov 16 – Dec 1, with $120 off the Braun IPL. Up to 2 years of smooth, salon-like skin, right from home. #BraunIPL

This holiday season, I’m making my life a little easier with gift cards from Kroger. I grab a DoorDash card in-store, clip both the 4X and bonus 1X digital coupons in the Kroger app, and then I’m earning 5x fuel points while powering through the holiday hustle. 🎄

✨ It’s such a simple way to save at the pump while still checking off my holiday to-dos: decorating, wrapping, or just enjoying a cozy night in. Grab a Doordash, Lowes or One4All gift card at Kroger and clip both coupons at the link in my bio to earn 5X fuel points, but hurry, this offer ends 11/27!

These architectural gems mix rustic charm with modern design—think soaring wood ceilings, giant picture windows, and a dreamy soaker tub that makes you never want to leave. 😍

We even brought our dogs along (yes, it’s dog-friendly!) and watched deer wander by through the trees. 🐾

Valley Bear Farms is tucked in the mountains of North Carolina, surrounded by peaceful forest views and plenty to explore. The property has hiking trails, a cozy general store, and other on-site amenities that make it feel like a little mountain village all its own. ⛰️

If you’re craving a nature-filled, beautifully designed getaway where you can truly unwind, these A-Frame cabins are it.👍🏻

The Cosmo JrTrack 5 Smartwatch has been the perfect in-between for us — she can call and text the people I approve, I can see where she is with GPS, and it has school mode, SOS, activity tracking, and even a little camera she loves.

We got the Holiday Bundle with the screen protector and LaunchPad stand, and it honestly just makes the whole thing easier.

If you want the link, comment “watch” and I’ll have it sent straight to your inbox. 🎄⌚️✨

🎄 POV: Our Weekend Holiday Getaway in Pigeon Forge 🎄 POV: Our Weekend Holiday Getaway in Pigeon Forge
There’s just something about the holidays in the Smoky Mountains — the lights, the laughter, the togetherness — it all feels extra magical. #sponsored

Our first stop was Dolly Parton’s Stampede, the world’s most visited dinner attraction, and it’s easy to see why. The pre-show in the Stampede Saloon had us singing along to country and Christmas classics before we sat down for a four-course feast that could rival any holiday dinner. 🐴

Then the arena came alive with 32 magnificent horses, trick riders, and dancers bringing the spirit of the season to life with a friendly North vs. South Pole rivalry, toys that come alive, and even Santa arriving in a horse-drawn sleigh. Pure holiday joy from start to finish! 🎅🏻

Next up was the Titanic Museum Attraction, beautifully transformed into an Elegant Edwardian Christmas, giving Titanic the Christmas voyage she never got. We each received a boarding pass with the name of a real passenger, explored the Grand Staircase, and even touched the icy 28-degree water. The interactive exhibits made history come alive, and it was such an emotional, unforgettable experience for all of us.

And to end the weekend, we dove into adventure at Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show. Led by Captain Blackbeard himself, the Crimson and Sapphire crews battled for treasure with acrobatics, mermaids, fire stunts, and even a sea lion! Between the four-course pirate feast and the jaw-dropping stunts, it was nonstop fun and the perfect grand finale to our Pigeon Forge weekend. 🏴‍☠️

This trip reminded me that time together really is the best gift. Add Pigeon Forge and these incredible attractions to your holiday must-do list this season. ❤️

Comment “Pigeon Forge” and I’ll send you links to grab your tickets before they sell out!
