I grew up going to the beach in the Destin/Ft. Walton beach area, and there are SO many great family activities! I could stay for weeks and never be bored. However, just as important as activities is where we stay, and I am in love with Hilton Garden Inn Ft. Walton Beach!
We had never stayed there before, and I was super impressed with everything. The hotel was clean, rooms were spacious, and the beach was just steps away from our room, and gorgeous!
There are many room types to choose from, and we had a king junior suite with bunk beds! Emma Kate was so excited! She even had her own TV in the corner, and they had an XBOX! (You can ask for controllers at the front desk.)
Our room also had a kitchenette which was great for warming up leftovers or bringing our own breakfast!
We had a gulf view and a nice balcony overlooking the courtyard, pool, and ocean.
Speaking of courtyard, they had cornhole, connect 4, a nice fire pit, and outdoor seating to enjoy. Seasonally there is a bar out by the pool as well, and beach chairs for rent.
Something I also learned is that if you aren’t staying at the hotel, you can purchase a day pass to enjoy the facilities (depending on occupancy.)
There is also a restaurant in the lobby!
Emma Kate had a blast on the lazy river, and we ended up starting at the pool, walking down to the beach, then coming back up to the pool later.
We had an amazing time, and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to Hilton Garden Inn Ft. Walton Beach! For more photos as well as videos, be sure to check out my Instagram Story highlight “Florida Spring”
