Harry Potter Fans!!! Did you know that in order experience all the Harry Potter goodness Universal Orlando Resort has to offer you need to visit BOTH parks? 😲

“Ok so I’ll just get two one park tickets” you say.

But then you would be sad. Very sad. You see, the Hogwarts Express is amazing and takes you from park to park, and is an attraction in itself (and different going each way!) The only way to ride it is to have a park to park ticket.

So don’t miss out on half the fun! The train is so immersive and lets you out right in the middle of the magic in both parks. 🪄

Don’t have park to park? Don’t worry, you can upgrade when you arrive! But you will definitely have some FOMO if you don’t. It’s REALLY cool!

Here is our two night itinerary for @visitclarksvi

Here is our two night itinerary for @visitclarksvilletn! (Ad) We had so much fun and would for sure go back. ✨

1.) We checked into the Holiday Inn right off the interstate. Rooms were very spacious! They had popcorn and cookies in the lobby which held us over until dinner! 🍿

2.) Just across the interstate we did black light mini golf at @dnd_minigolf. It was super cool and a fun activity in the air conditioning! ⛳️

3.) Right by the hotel is a beautiful newish place called @oldglorydistillingco. The menu was all delicious as were the drinks. They also provide tours of the distillery. 🍺

4.) The next morning after breakfast we headed downtown to the @customshousemuseum. It’s a great museum and downstairs was a super fun kids area. 🏫

5.) We walked a couple blocks over to lunch at @strawberryalleytn, then explored a few of the adorable shops nearby. 🍓

6.) We walked a couple more blocks to the @downtowncommonstn. They have a large grassy field and a stage where they host fun events. There is a cool water feature some kids were playing in! We found a soccer ball and did some running around before leaving. ⚽️

7.) We drove just a few short minutes away to Fort Defiance. It’s free to tour the museum and walk around outside. So much history! 🫡

8.) Right on the River is McGregor Park. Emma Kate loved the playground and it has great views of the water. 🛝

9.) We walked around the Riverwalk and saw a lot of people walking and jogging. Would be a great place to meet up with a friend and get a workout in. 💦

10.) The highlight for Emma Kate was @thecityforumtn. It’s a giant indoor play area with an arcade, mini golf, laser tag, bowling, go carts, a carousel, and more! She was in heaven. 😇

11.) Dinner was right next door at @dock17tn. We enjoyed some happy hour drinks and a delicious dinner before heading back to the hotel. 🍹

The next morning we headed home but could have gone back downtown for a Saturday market, and more local food. So much to do!

August is always so bittersweet.
End of summer, sleeping in and long evenings. The start of school, sports, and routine.

We had the most magical summer and a great start to the school year so I can’t complain. We made some amazing core memories that I will treasure forever. ❤️ ☀️

In all seriousness, we do love that due to all the walking around the parks, we don’t feel so bad about the yummy food we eat. Truly is a win/win if you love fitness! We average 7-10 miles a day!
