👑 I didn’t think I would have tears in my eyes creating a recap about our experience at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! 😭

This is something I have wanted to experience with Emma Kate ever since she was a baby. I wanted to wait until she was old enough to understand and remember..maybe 5 or 6….which is when the world shut down. When they opened back up, I knew my time was short, so we made it happen last month on our trip.

I was hesitant to spend the money on the castle package (which included dress, tiara and wand for around $200), but man, am I so glad I did.

Our experience was wonderful from start to finish, and my face hurt from smiling. Did she pick the hairstyle I wanted her to pick? No. Did she want to go swimming that afternoon and mess up her hair? Yes. Did she want to wear sneakers? Yes. But it didn’t matter.

For those few hours in the Magic Kingdom, she was Rapunzel, wandering through her kingdom, being called princess by every cast member we met along the way…and I’ve never seen her smile so big.

Here’s the thing…Our kids only dream about hugging princesses and dancing in pretty dresses with their dads for such a short amount of time. Trust me, I know the price tag is hard to swallow, but y’all …that magical warm fuzzy you can only get at Disney was alive and well that day, and I will hold onto the feelings and fun of that time with my little girl for as long as I can. So take the trip, buy the dress. Make the memories. 🥰

Thank you Disney, for giving us princesses that are courageous, strong, smart, fun, and that inspire our little ones to dream. Yes, that is what I truly want…so dream big, princess. The world is waiting. 👑♥️🥰💜

Now-June 7th, Wednesdays at @themeltingpotrestaurants just got better! Go and try out a 3 or 4 course BFFF menu and celebrate your friendship with your faves!

Bobby has been with me through thick and thin for almost 20 years, so it was a no brainer that I would bring him with me to celebrate on BFFF Wednesday! We had never been to The Melting Pot, so we were super excited to try it out. Chocolate and cheese are the way to my heart, so I can truly say I enjoyed the food and the experience!

We got cheese fondue, salad, entree, and dessert at our dinner, and the selections were so fun (bacon mac and cheese or lavender and blueberry white chocolate anyone?) Check out the link in my bio for more info on this fun menu!

🌸 May is Mental Health Awareness Month! 🌸

I know it’s the end of the month, but I want to take this opportunity to open up about my personal journey and share something close to my heart. It can feel very lonely sometimes putting my life on Instagram/being so public. I can be a workaholic, fall into the comparison trap game, and struggle with my patience, anger, and frustration. I can look happy on a video, but be having a really hard day. But then sometimes I do have really good days!

I struggle with anxiety, and have taken medication for it on and off (right now is an “on”). I believe it’s time to break the stigma surrounding medication for mental health. Let’s make it clear: seeking help, whether through counseling or medication, is a responsible choice and should never be taboo. 💪🧠

Remember, you are not alone in this journey. 🤝 Together, we can create a supportive community that encourages conversations about mental health and fosters understanding. Let’s lift each other up instead of pick apart our flaws, and spread awareness about the importance of self-care and seeking professional help when needed. 🌟
