Family Memories Booking With Vacasa

I’m very close to my parents, and we love vacationing together. However, when you have a couple of cramped hotel rooms, even if they are next to each other, it doesn’t really give you a place to “hang out” and be together, eat meals together, or just relax on a rainy day at the beach. We had the opportunity to rent a vacation home in Destin recently, and we were BLOWN AWAY! The size of our condo was bigger than my first house, and there were so many places for us to gather as a family and hang out. We had one full day of rain during our trip, but it was all ok because we all had a place to sit in the living room to watch a movie, and we played lots of games!

We spent a lot of time on the balcony looking at at the ocean (they had a table and chairs as well as lounge chairs, so plenty of space for all!)

But we also spent time at the large round dining room table off the kitchen playing card games, and eating meals together. We enjoy cooking a couple of nights at the beach and this kitchen and dining set up was perfect!

We of course all enjoyed time at the beach together, the water was crystal clear and the sand was sugar white. We just walked right down from the room and set up a spot on the shore line. When my parents wanted to go back up but we weren’t ready, it was super easy for them to just go back up to the condo and relax while we kept playing. I loved not having to get in the car!
