Hello friends! Long time no post, I know. Working full time plus doing my influencer work plus packing has been a lot. Hopefully once we get settled I can get back in the swing of things and be more consistent on the blog. I wanted to give a quick run down because while I did mention on IG that we are moving, I know the dumb algorithm only shows it to a few people, so I have gotten a lot of surprised “YOU ARE MOVING?!?! Dm’s lately so I wanted to give an update here. In case you missed the post and video I recorded with it, you can check it out here.
Time is flying, and we are at less than TWO WEEKS until we leave Mississippi. There is so much that goes into moving states like getting a truck, hiring a crew, packing, researching, figuring out new utilities, bills, changing addresses, forwarding mail, etc. that I have felt a little overwhelmed the past couple of months. Thankfully we now have a moving truck and are just working on a crew, getting a firm closing date, and packing. Oh, the packing. Thankfully it’s a 3 day weekend (scheduling this post to go live later) and we have been able to get a LOT done.
SO our plan is to have the trailer delivered mid next week start loading, and leave the next Saturday and head to my parents while we wait for the trailer and for the house to close. Then EK starts camp the following week. She and Dolly will hang with my parents while we unload because, hello, that would be a nightmare. We are hoping to get our furniture that Thursday (I will take off work Thursday and Friday) so that will the weekend I will have 4 days to get my life together.
We can’t wait to make new friends, join a new church, visit new restaurants and be less than an hour from Pigeon Forge. We are going to have lots of adventures and I hope you will stick around and follow along! I also am asking that you would pray for us in this transition. It’s a high stress time with a lot of moving parts, and I would covet your prayers!
