We did it! Half marathon number 13 for me, and I got my coast to coast medal. The Disneyland half marathon was a success!
Don’t worry, there will be much more to tell about the race including a full recap, but we only have a few days in Disneyland and I want to enjoy them, but also be sure I do a good job with my recap, so it will come when I get back home. Don’t worry, I took plenty of pictures to go along with it!
Be sure to check out my Disneyland expo recap posts one and two.
Did you hear? my friend Cindy from Running Skirts WON the half marathon for the women! Her awesome sister Christy came in 10th, I am so proud of both of them, what an accomplishment!
Cindy on the left, Christy on the right. Great ladies, and super speedy!

Lucky number 13…one of my fave numbers. You definitely celebrated it in style. I was talking to my husband last night and came up with the idea of making a Disney race happen for 2013. We are now only 5ish hours away from Disneyland. Been to Disney World many times, but never Disneyland. Maybe we can make it happen this upcoming year. Looks like Tinkerbell is sold out already so I’ll have to stay patient for an entire year. Enjoy your time out in Cali!
Yes!!! Sign up for DL half as soon as it opens you will love it!
Awesome job! 13 is amazing! I ran my first this year and I am still debating if I want to do another.

Congrats girl! I can’t wait for the full recap! And I saw Cindy won yesterday…amazing!!!
Congratulations! I placed once in a very small race. There are too many speedy women in my age group around here! Maybe I will move up to the next one before they do. 😉
That’s still awesome!

Congratulations!!! I’m going down for the Disney WORLD half marathon in a couple weeks. I’m going to be home anyways and my aunt works for Disney so I’m going to go cheer her on 🙂
Congratulations!! Enjoy the rest of your trip!
I’ve placed 3rd (woman) in a 10K once but had to miss the award and ceremony due to my house inspection. I think I only ran that fast because I had to hurry back to an appointment and I didn’t want to DNF.
Congrats on your race! 13 half marathons, that’s awesome.
AHHHH!!! Congratulations!!! I’m still working on 5k’s, but my goal is to run the Disney half. 🙂 LOVE the skirts!
5k is great! Keep it up!

Wow. 13 races and how many Disney medals? Including the coveted Coast to Coast medal. I noticed Bobby didn’t have the medal as well. Did he not run in WDW this year? Still, congrats to both.
I ran princess bobby did not, but he will get his medal at wine and dine!

Congrats, Heather – what an accomplishment. This makes me even more motivated and excited to finally sign up for a half and to stop being scared! Enjoy the rest of your time in Disneyland! 🙂
INCREDIBLE! Congrats, sweetie! So proud of you!
I don’t run, so I have never raced 😉

YAY for you and #13! 🙂
I have placed in 2 different 5k races, but only because hardly anyone was in my age group! 🙂
