I mentioned awhile back that I would be running the Rock โnโ Roll New Orleans half marathon, but I finally got my rear in gear and officially registered!
Bobby is registered too, so we will both be running the half in January. I am admittedly a little nervous as it will be my first half after having baby M, and since I havenโt really run since sometime in the second trimester, I will literally be starting from scratch. But thatโs ok! Iโm going to CELEBRATE being able to run again and have already started brainstorming costume ideas. Oh yes my friends. I WILL be running in a costume. Itโs all about fun at Rock โnโ Roll New Orleans!
Voting has ended on the finisherโs medals for this race, but the design will be announced on the 18th! I will be posting pictures on Instagram as soon as I get my hands on a photo so be sure you are following me.

Rock ‘n’ Roll races are so much fun! I’ve run two this year – DC and Virginia Beach. I’m not currently registered for any 2015 races, but once I start working on my race calendar for next year I’ll definitely be considering a Rock ‘n’ Roll race or two.
I would love to do either of those, they look fun!

My husband and I were registered to run RnR Cleveland but they cancelled the race.:( We ran it last year and really enjoyed it, so we are a little bummed.

I haven’t run any RnR races but there is a half in Dallas. The first year the medal was of the Ferris wheel on the fairgrounds.

I’ve never run a RNR because it’d have to be a destination race and I am not ready to do that again (yet!)!

I am hoping to run the Seattle Rock’n’Roll Half next year. I’ve always wanted to run a RnR race, but put it off because Seattle is really hilly. But, I think it may be time to concur those hills!
