runDisney Marathon Weekend Registration 2016

April 28, 2015 | blogging, Disney, fitness, runDisney, running

Today is a big day for runDisney fans, registration for marathon weekend 2016 opens at noon EST today on runDisney.com! I sadly won’t be registering (unless I find out I have some rich great uncle I didn’t know I had), but I wish lots of pixie dust to those of you that are registering!

Be sure you understand the above instructions!

If you are on the fence about registering, allow me to shove you over. Marathon weekend is the first runDisney race weekend I ever participated in before runDisney even existed. I went back in 2011, 2013, and 2014 adding more distance each time (I went from the half, to the full, to goofy to dopey!) It is a blast, and I do hope to participate again in the future. Lots and lots of special memories!

Anyway, if you have any questions about marathon weekend of any of the races I would be happy to help you. For now, please enjoy some of my old posts on the races and race weekend by visiting my runDisney page. I will link to a couple of them here for you, too. GOOD LUCK!

I am registering for my first marathon (and my husband will be registering for Goofy) to celebrate our 20th anniversary. I’m scared to death, but excited too!

I’m still debating on whether to sign up or not….it’s such a commitment training wise, but it’s also such a blast!

Goofy hopefully for me. And I insist it’s all your fault! Too bad I won’t get to see you this time around.

I hear ya on that rich uncle part. I signed up for “just the half” through AP registration. It’s already getting crazy on social media. Going to be fun to watch this afternoon! 🙂

I wish. Oh how I wish. But I signed up for RnR New Orleans when it was $50 and it’s in February. I figure my husband wouldn’t appreciate back to back months of travel – whether he takes time off work to go with me, or I leave him home alone with the boys. So alas, my dreams of Dopey will have to wait until 2017. I WILL do Dopey one year though!

So exciting! I’m pretty bummed to miss the event next year. Marathon weekend is so much fun!

Love Marathon weekend. I so want to run but can’t make Marathon weekend and Princess doable with work. Whomp whomp.

I wish I was signing up-Dopey this year was a total dream but sadly I can’t this year. I am doing NYC Marathon and wine and dine back to back so I can’t take anymore time off of work. Also I really want to focus on Star Wars this year. It was so great but doing dopey before was super stressful

They don’t know it yet. But
when they’re grown and starting
their own Christmas traditions,
it will be you they mirror.
Your family recipes,
the Christmas songs,
the nostalgic smell.

When they think of Christmas,
it will be YOU, not the presents
that they remember.

You are their memories.
You are their magic.
You are their Christmas. ❤️🎄

So slow down. Stop worrying if the presents are wrapped just right, if you baked enough cookies or picked out the right cards to send. It doesn’t matter. They will remember YOU.
