Pure Bliss

August 16, 2013 | Ad-free, health, Mental Health, Travel

When I was asked to try out Neuro BLISS, I will admit I was a bit skeptical. Typically when drinks claim to do anything other than satisfy your thirst, they tend to taste well….Nasty. I was so pleasantly surprised when I opened my first bottle of Neuro BLISS. It has an amazing taste (lemon lime maybe?)! Only 35 calories a bottle! And it’s supposed to elevate my mood, help me feel stress free AND help me concentrate? I can handle that!

Check out this infographic. 1,200 consumers were surveyed, and findings found that nearly 50% of Americans spend at least half of their daily lives stressed out (wow!) Most people agreed that a vacation would help them be less stressed (more on THAT later, keep reading!)

Ah, vacation. I truly love it. Check out one of my favorite BLISSful moments:

Ah, yes. Being out in the middle of the Caribbean on a cruise is DEFINITELY my BLISSful, stress-free moment. Whenever I “think happy thoughts” it’s definitely of this beach vacation! As a Disney lover and beach lover, a Disney cruise makes sense to me, and going to Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island, is my favorite stop. A full day of sitting in the sun reading a book on the ADULTS ONLY beach is PURE BLISS!

Since we unfortunately can’t all take vacations every day, what CAN we do? Drinking Neuro BLISS is a great start. It has a blend of minerals and antioxidants as well as chamomile and an amino acid found in green tea that helps improve focus and relieve stress.  I could definitely tell after drinking this that I had better concentration on my work and didn’t seem as distracted.

Ok, BACK to vacations. How would you like to go on a $10,000 one? You can enter the BLISS and tell contest and weekly giveaway by sharing about your BLISSful moment. It’s super easy to enter, and you can enter on Instagram, too! So go take some time to relax and enter the contest!

Also, here is a special coupon code for $1 any Neuro drink. You can find them at Target, Walgreens, Safeway, 7-11, among other stores.

QOTD: When you think of a blissful moment in life, what comes to mind?

What does it taste like? Is it like water or is it a thicker substance? Does it come in flavors? Great beach pictures too!

My bliss moment happened at 3:30 AM this week. My husband plays in a band and they had a gig so he got home late. I woke up as he was coming to bed and found my 7 yr old daughter curled up at the foot of my bed, asleep next to our 85 lb lab. Then my 4 yr old little boy woke up and ran in the room too, wanting to sleep with his mommy. My entire life was in our king sized bed and I just felt comfortable, warm and loved. (Not so much bliss when I had to get up at 5:30 AM to go to work the next morning)

Love your bathing suit and it was so fitting for a Disney cruise!!

My bliss is snuggling with my kids or when I hear the face time ring of my husband calling from overseas.

YES I was dancing, eating mac and cheese from the YES I was dancing, eating mac and cheese from the kids menu, and singing “Let it Go” with a butter knife while wearing Mickey ears on our Disney cruise. 🚢

When I was 12, I was worried a lot… worried about failing, scared of what people would think of me, and of not fitting in or being “cool”.
I turned 40 this year and have been spending time trying to figure out exactly who I really am with all expectations stripped away. I don’t love the term “finding yourself”, but here I feel like it fits. ✨

Maybe finding yourself means going back to being 12.… and being myself without being scared. Heather at 12 would never believe this version of me… but I think she’d be proud. 💛✨

Ever wondered what extra magic you can add for a b Ever wondered what extra magic you can add for a birthday onboard a @disneycruiseline ship? 🚢

Emma Kate turned 11 last month during our sailing and we did so many birthday things! She got a ton of “happy birthday’s” from crew and guests to make it extra special. ✨

👉🏻For a link to the birthday ears she wore (they have lots of colors and variations!) comment “EARS” and I will send it to you!

This is 11. ✨🎉 Not sure how this happened, b This is 11. ✨🎉

Not sure how this happened, but time snuck up on me and now I have an 11 year old. 🥹
We couldn’t think of a more fun place to celebrate that on Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island in the Bahamas.

She started the day with presents, then hours and hours in the sun on the island, followed by cake and singing at dinner, the tween club, and fireworks at sea! (They were for pirate night but we said they were birthday fireworks!)

Happy birthday to the most fierce, kind, competitive, loyal, funny, and beautiful little girl I know. 🩷 Never change who you are and stop growing up so fast! So. Blessed to have the best title there is, Emma Kate’s mom. 💖

✨ Recovery isn’t just for the pros. (Ad) I’ ✨ Recovery isn’t just for the pros. (Ad)

I’ve been adding Incrediwear’s circulation socks and sport socks into my training routine, and they’ve helped me recover faster, reduce soreness, and keep my legs fresh for long runs.
Unlike compression, Incrediwear products actually increase blood flow, which means more oxygen + nutrients where your body needs it most.

And it’s not just athletes who benefit. My dad’s had two knee replacements, and the Incrediwear knee sleeves help him manage swelling, restore mobility, and feel comfortable moving again.

From world-class athletes like LeBron James and Steph Curry to everyday runners (and even my dad!), Incrediwear makes recovery accessible to everyone. 🏃‍♀️💪
