I’m posting a day early so I can spend time with my two favorite guys tomorrow.

@bobbymontg is the most selfless, considerate, and thoughtful guy I know. He truly puts my needs before his own, and gives me so much grace day after day. He is the “fun parent” and Emma Kate loves playing with dad St. We would be lost without him!

My dad who is (thankfully) not on social media…(he would be arguing with everyone and pushing buttons. IYKYK) Is the strong silent type, showing love in sneaky little ways like giving Emma Kate a bag of change for a missions offering at church so the girls can beat the boys, or coming over to help us hang new shutters or re paint the front door.

I love them both and am so thankful God chose me to be in their lives! (Swipe for more.)

To the ones grieving this weekend, whether it be because you long to be a father, miss your father, or don’t want to be reminded of him, I see you and I am praying for you this weekend.

Tex mex for all!! 🌮 (A D)

We LOVE @tijuanaflats, and were thrilled to have the opportunity to try out their new limited time menu featuring street corn!

They have created a twist on some old favorites and made them even better (you didn’t think that was possible, right?) @bobbymontg had the bowl and I had the flautas, both were excellent and super filling! (We of course also had to get some chips and cheese and dessert because…duh!)

On top of getting to try out this delicious new menu (only available until August 1!) we got to see a whole new restaurant look at the Ocoee, Florida location. Y’all I’m really digging it! It’s so much brighter than the older concepts, and also super tech savvy.

There is a beautiful digital menu board, and my favorite, the option to order from an iPad right at your table! We loved how it had photos so you can see exactly what you are ordering.

If you are local be sure to stop in and check it out for yourself. If not, check out your local store for the limited time menu before it’s gone.

This post is dedicated to Crystal River Rapids at @gaylordpalms. A whole post for one attraction? Yup. It’s that good. (A D) 💦

Think of it as a lazy river on steroids. The currents propel you along (life jackets provided!) and you can go around as many times as you want! There’s waterfalls and hot tubs too, we had SO much fun!

You can also rent premium pool seating all around the rapids, including the glorious daybeds like the one we had (swipe to see!) It was heavenly and so nice to not have to rush down to the pool in the mornings to get a good spot! Seriously one of my favorite Gaylord perks.

Photo 7 (swipe) is actually a time lapse video of me going all the way around! Emma Kate has talked about it several times and we can’t wait to go back!

Something made me a little sad the day we were at

Something made me a little sad the day we were at Magic Kingdom last week. 😕

I changed into this shirt mid day, and as I looked into the mirror at my reflection and read the words back to myself, I definitely felt a twinge of sad.

You see, the first line of my shirt says “fireworks” in a list of “Disney life” things I love. However, there were no fireworks that day of course. I debated not wearing the shirt because I felt a little silly, but decided to keep it on in the hopes of what could be coming soon.

Much to my surprise, yesterday it was announced that fireworks are BACK at the beginning of July! 🎆 It seemed fitting that I post a picture of this shirt today, right? Maybe my wish upon a star that day helped a little to bring the magic back to the sky? That’s what I’m telling myself at least! 💫

Now to plan a trip back so that I can see them…

We are finally home! I feel like we were gone a mo

We are finally home! I feel like we were gone a month! We had a blast but it felt so good to sleep in my own bed last night. (A D)

Speaking of beds, one of the hotels we stayed at, @homewoodorlando, was a great pick! It has a free hot breakfast, a nice pool area, shuttles to some theme parks, and it’s only about 10 minutes from @disneysprings!

We stayed there the night before we went to Magic Kingdom, and it did not take us long at all to get there in our car. If you are looking for something close to the theme parks without paying theme park hotel, you definitely need to check them out!

They have regular rooms and suites, and our suite even had a kitchen. Check out my IG story highlight “Orlando June21” for more pics and videos, and our room tour is on my IGTV!
