So pumped that we will be staying in one of these

So pumped that we will be staying in one of these beautiful cabins again next month! 💃🏻

My parents are @disneyvacationclub members, and take us to Disney every year with their points. Since we already have annual passes it works out great!

We love the DVC villas because you can stay in whatever size you need for your family from deluxe studio (basically like a regular hotel room with kitchenette) all the way to a 1, 2, or 3 bedroom villa, or even a cabin on the lake!

These are perfect for a multigenerational trip and have plenty of space for everyone to hang out together but also have a little privacy. My favorite things:

🌲 Sleep 8 people
🌲 private hot tub on the screened in porch
🌲 private parking lot near the cabins so less walking to your car
🌲 Full kitchen stocked with all the appliances, plates, and utensils you need.
🌲 Washer and dryer!
🌲 Magic Kingdom fireworks music piped in on the back patio.

Getting to spend time in my favorite place with my parents, husband, and daughter is such a dream and I’m so thankful we are making more memories soon! ♥️

Today I am continuing on my journey of posting from some of mg favorite warm weather places in 2024 as I sit bundled up in the cold. ☀️ 🥶

These pictures are from Coral Beach in Grand Cayman, one of the stops on our @disneycruiseline cruise. Grams Cayman is different that other ports due to the lengthy tender process, but if you do decide to venture off the ship here are some tips:

1.) Grand Cayman has an inexpensive bus system. So you can hop on and off easily to get around if you plan ahead.

2.) It’s hot and humid. Wear lots of sunscreen and a hat. Bring water. That sun just hits different.

3.) Technically the beaches here are public. So you can plop your towel down in the sand where you would like. There are tons of public beaches access points. 7 miles beach is a great spot. However, note that just because the beaches are public, you are not entitled to use facilities at hotels etc. that sit on said beaches.

4.) We have always felt safe here, but as always watch your surroundings. The spoken language is English, but they do drive on the opposite side of the road from the US so be mindful of traffic if you are walking!

5.) Y’all know I like to keep it real…Coral Beach isn’t really so much of a beach as a bulkhead and you take stairs directly down into the water. It was also very rocky and I wish we had brought water shoes. It’s a BEAUTIFUL view for sure, but not a beach you just walk into the water from like many other places or the public beaches on 7 mile. They do have clean bathrooms and you can purchase food and drinks. You can also rent chairs or a cabana like we had.
Would we go back to this spot? Probably not with Emma Kate. I’m glad we did it once and it was gorgeous and great if you just want a nice view and access to food and drinks. But for families with kids that want to play in the sand or run back and forth in and out of the water, this is not it. I would say just go to the public beach and set your towel in the sand for that! Locals will have chairs you can rent for the day in a lot of places as well. Let me know if you have any questions!

…and schedules and leaves notes with the dog sitter, and gets the mail held, and gets assignments from the school, and makes sure the perishable food gets eaten or tossed, and cleans the house because who wants to come home to a messy house, and cleans the car out and makes sure the A/C is set and the doors locked and…and…and…

Ok so this may be a little over exaggerated, (love you, @bobbymontg!) but dang, we do a lot just to get ready to vacation and “relax.” Just validate our stress and give us a hug, and we will be ok. 🥰

I want margarita and palm trees!🍹🌴

We have already established that I think winter is stupid. The snow was fun to look at for a few minutes and even run around in, but now it’s just downright cold and my bones hurt. My body was not made for this is an understatement. 🥶 😆

Do you like the cold or margaritas and palm trees? How many days until spring? I’m ready for a trip somewhere warm!! ☀️

We are getting SNOW tomorrow! ❄️

I know for a lot of people that is not a big deal, but here in Knoxville since we have lived here, we have only gotten one good snow winter. But, since we have established that I think that winter is stupid, y’all know I’m dreaming and scheming of going somewhere warm like @thehendersonfl!

We had the best time when we went here in October, and are dying to go back. Emma Kate talks about how much she loved the lazy river and chicken and cheese quesadilla, and Bobby loved the sushi and the customer service. Me? I loved it all, but especially loved the spa and the beautiful beach access.

Can luxury and kid friendly coexist? You bet it can! And The Henderson proves it! 🏖️

Some of my favorite things about @disneycruiseline are the magical little details all throughout the trip.

How the cast members call your daughter “princess.”

How Mickey will take her hand and “go for a walk.”

The fun of ordering a Mickey bar from room service.

The way you can watch your favorite disney movie as you swim on the pool deck.

And how your servers will cut your child’s steak for them and put ketchup in the shape of Mickey on their plate. 🥹

Sometimes the magic just can’t be described, and you have to experience it for yourself. ✨❤️
