The weather is warming up, and I am so excited for

The weather is warming up, and I am so excited for beautiful outdoor runs! #TeamNike I know running can seem intimidating if you are new at it, so I wanted to share three running tips with you so that you can lace up and reach your running goals!

1.) A good shoe is KEY! I am loving the all NEW @nikerunning Invincible running shoe. It's super supportive without feeling heavy, and I feel like I'm bouncing when I'm running! Very comfortable and how adorable is the pink color? 10/10 recommend if you're looking for a more supportive shoe.

2.) Keep track of your running journey either on your phone in the notes section, in an app (nike also has an app for that ;), or print out a training journal, or even use a basic blank notebook. After every run, write down things like the weather/temperature, how far you ran, what your time was, how you were feeling, and any other details you may want to look back on. It's fun to see later how far you have come!

3.) Make sure someone knows where you will be. For the sake of safety, you should always let a family member or friend know when you are going for a run, where you are running, and when you plan to be back. Send a quick text or leave a note on the kitchen counter, this is an important one!

Is it spring break where you live? 🎡
It is here, and I know a lot of the local places are busy, but hopefully that doesn’t stop you from enjoying all the fun things there are to do in East Tennessee! @theislandpf is one of our favorite places to visit, and we love staying right above the action at the @margaritavilleislandhotel (looking at the wheel from your balcony never gets old!)

There are rides, restaurants, shops, and of course the dancing show fountains. And parking is free! A great way to spend the day. We can’t wait to go back again when it gets a little warmer!
