Packing List for the Beach

June 30, 2015 | tips, Travel

On Sunday Bobby and I leave for the beach. Today I started thinking about packing, and decided to write everything down, which led to the idea for this blog post. I know a lot of people heading to the beach so hopefully this will help spark something you may have forgotten to pack!

Please note I am not listing things you would bring on ANY trip with you like your toiletries, etc. but just more specifically for the actual beach. Enjoy!

Another item to pack: a small bottle of baby powder. Baby powder helps get the beach sand off as long as your feet are dry. Even better, take along a paint brush to dust off the sand and powder. You can pack both and just leave in the car to get rid of that last bit of sand before you get in the car.

They don’t know it yet. But
when they’re grown and starting
their own Christmas traditions,
it will be you they mirror.
Your family recipes,
the Christmas songs,
the nostalgic smell.

When they think of Christmas,
it will be YOU, not the presents
that they remember.

You are their memories.
You are their magic.
You are their Christmas. ❤️🎄

So slow down. Stop worrying if the presents are wrapped just right, if you baked enough cookies or picked out the right cards to send. It doesn’t matter. They will remember YOU.
