Hey guys! Be sure to catch up on parts one, two, and three of my trip before reading todayβs post!
We left off with our amazing dinner out in Baltimore before heading to bed. We woke up bright and early for another jam packed day of fun, starting with some rooftop yoga.
Now, if you know anything about me, you know just how inflexible I am. it amazes people that I canβt touch my toes. Thanks to scoliosis, I canβt bend certain ways, and much to the disappointment of my chiropractor, my hips are all out of whack and super tight. This makes yoga very difficult for Heather. Heather was a little scared going into yoga with all of these awesome ladies who do yoga regularly. Oh boy.
First, let me back up. When we got out to the pool area, we saw this gorgeous view.
There was a pool attendant who told us to go up the outdoor flight of stairs for yoga, and we saw more breath taking views.
There were yoga mats and towels (which are awesome by the way) laying out for us.
We met the lovely Camille who would be teaching our class that day. She was so cute and sweet and wasnβt too hard on me for being a total noob.
Ah, yes Camille, it IS funny that I am that inflexible.
It was a great class in the most gorgeous location, and I was sore for DAYS after! The class was really hard for me, but I stuck it out, and am #BetterThanYesterday because of it. Super proud of myself!
We were in a time crunch, so we hurried down to breakfast at the restaurant in the Four Seasons. It was heavenly. I had an omelet, bacon, and some fruit. So delicious. However, we had to eat fast because we were running behind for our spa appointments! Thatβs right, we were all getting massages!
I had the most amazing massage, and since I was already sore from our insane workout the day before, it felt wonderful and was such an amazing treat! I wish we had more time to explore the spa area, but we had to shower and pack up our things and get back to UA Headquarters. Maybe next time!
We headed back to Headquarters where lunch was waiting.
We had the privilege of meeting with some other teams and departments, and it was so much fun when they asked for our input on products and ideas. I love how willing they were to listen to us and ask for our advice. Before I knew it, it was 3:00 and time for my car to take me back to the airport, and I had to say goodbye to these lovely ladies.
Oh how I wish I would have gotten to spend more time with this one, the amazingly hard worked who made all of this possible for us FitFluential gals. Jami is such a pleasure to be around, and is so sweet and accommodating. She wanted everything to be so perfect for us, and it was just that! UA is so lucky to have her!
Look out for a post coming late next week about my thoughts and takeaways from this experience. I still have so much to share!
QOTD: Do you ever try a class you donβt do often and step out of your comfort zone? Are you as inflexible as I am?
Again, huge thanks to Matt Ryb for the awesome pictures from our yoga sesh, they are beautiful, even if I look super awkward in them!

I love the shirt you are wearing at yoga– it is one of my favorites! Also, the views are amazing– beautiful!
it’s so comfy!
OH HOW I HAVE FOLLOWED THIS WHOLE THING ONLINE.
so so happy for you and a weeetad jealous.
Wow! Looks like an amazing trip.
I didnt know you have Scoliosis.
My daughter was put in a back brace in May. She has to wear it for 23 hours a day/ two years minimum. It has put a strain in her training to continue doing 5k’s etc but we are staying positive and I am doing my best to keep her motivated. She does Yoga stretching almost daily during her one hour she is out of her brace. It helps her flexibility and soreness.
mine’s not that bad, but it does hurt me a lot in my low back and I go to the chiropractor. I have leg length decrepincies and my hips are off bc of it so I struggle with running injuries!
I am not flexible at all. I tend to do yoga at home just so others won’t see what I can’t do. I haven’t been able to touch my toes since elementary school.
glad I’m not alone!
Wow! The pictures are gorgeous!!! What an incredible experience! I’ve loved following your journey! And girl…I am not flexible either! Yoga is super hard for me too so I understand your pain!!! π
haha good!
Yes, I have stepped out of my comfort zone the first time I went to Boot Camp. It was HARD! Glad you had fun at Yoga!
boot camp is tough!
LOVE! I need to try yoga big time! I want to! π I tried kickboxing once & way out of my comfort zone – it kicked my butt! π
kickboxing looks so hard!
I just got caught up on the whole trip, you ladies had such a wonderful time and it looked like such a great experience!
What an amazing experience you had! I’m not very flexible either…it’s definitely something I need to work on.
I am not flexible either. My hamstrings stay tight no matter how much I stretch. And obviously you need to share your back and shoulder workouts with us! Great definition in that first picture!
mine to I stretch all the time. Sad!
LOL thanks! I just do the machines at the gym and some free weights
Love reading the recaps! What an awesome thing you got to experience! The pics are amazing too!
I bend over to pick stuff up off the floor, that’s typically the closest I get to yoga lately. I tried rowing and I didn’t fall in the river or get hit in the face with an oar handle, so I’m going to say it went really well!
haha oh no!
Girl!! You did GREAT – way to push yourself outside of your comfort zone and own it. I’m proud of you!
thanks friend!
Love those rooftop photos. Baltimore is such a beautiful place!
I had never been so i was amazed!
Great job in stepping out of our comfort zone! It’s amazing how when we push ourselves we can discover things we’re capable of that we didn’t think we could do. A couple of weeks ago, I tried hot yoga for the first time. Was scared to do it, but am so glad that I pushed myself to try it out!
yay good job!
That looks like it was amazing! I have that top in 2 colors too. One of my favorites!! π
I am so unflexible it’s insane. My old boss and coworker took me to a hot yoga class. I had never done yoga, let alone hot yoga so I felt ridiculous and kept falling over and losing my balance. I was sore for days but it really was so relaxing and I slept like a baby the days I had the class.
