There are SO many amazing restaurants in Disney Springs, and we love trying new places while in Walt Disney World. In no particular order, here are my 5 fave places to grab a nice cold cocktail!

1-3: @splitsville.orlando: bowl while you eat and drink! They have the most delicious fruity drinks. If tropical is your thing, you won’t be disappointed! (Blue lagoon, pina colada, painkiller.)

4-5: @theboathouseorlando: beautiful views right on the lake. Fun drinks that taste delicious! (Blueberry lemonade, old fashioned, and duck, duck razz.)

6-7: @summerhouseonthelake: be sure to ask for a table outside on the patio. It was so relaxing! Their drinks were super refreshing on a hot day. (I think it’s a sangria. Then the froze, old fashioned, and Emma Kates special virgin drink.)

8: @winebargeorge: they make the most amazing frozen drink if you are a #dolewhip fan! I always have to have two! (Froscato with dole whip pineapple.)

9-10: @planethollywood is another great spot for huge drinks and fun music. They also have amazing desserts. (Pina colada, bananas cocktail.)

👍🏻Don’t let people tell you that you have to “rough it” to have new experiences, connect with nature, or be adventurous. There are many forms of exploring our world, and we all choose which appeals to us most, and that doesn’t have to look the same as everyone else!

For me? I’ll be saying no to any opportunity that requires me to sleep on the ground or use the bathroom outside. 😆

So pumped that we will be staying in one of these

So pumped that we will be staying in one of these beautiful cabins again next month! 💃🏻

My parents are @disneyvacationclub members, and take us to Disney every year with their points. Since we already have annual passes it works out great!

We love the DVC villas because you can stay in whatever size you need for your family from deluxe studio (basically like a regular hotel room with kitchenette) all the way to a 1, 2, or 3 bedroom villa, or even a cabin on the lake!

These are perfect for a multigenerational trip and have plenty of space for everyone to hang out together but also have a little privacy. My favorite things:

🌲 Sleep 8 people
🌲 private hot tub on the screened in porch
🌲 private parking lot near the cabins so less walking to your car
🌲 Full kitchen stocked with all the appliances, plates, and utensils you need.
🌲 Washer and dryer!
🌲 Magic Kingdom fireworks music piped in on the back patio.

Getting to spend time in my favorite place with my parents, husband, and daughter is such a dream and I’m so thankful we are making more memories soon! ♥️

Today I am continuing on my journey of posting from some of mg favorite warm weather places in 2024 as I sit bundled up in the cold. ☀️ 🥶

These pictures are from Coral Beach in Grand Cayman, one of the stops on our @disneycruiseline cruise. Grams Cayman is different that other ports due to the lengthy tender process, but if you do decide to venture off the ship here are some tips:

1.) Grand Cayman has an inexpensive bus system. So you can hop on and off easily to get around if you plan ahead.

2.) It’s hot and humid. Wear lots of sunscreen and a hat. Bring water. That sun just hits different.

3.) Technically the beaches here are public. So you can plop your towel down in the sand where you would like. There are tons of public beaches access points. 7 miles beach is a great spot. However, note that just because the beaches are public, you are not entitled to use facilities at hotels etc. that sit on said beaches.

4.) We have always felt safe here, but as always watch your surroundings. The spoken language is English, but they do drive on the opposite side of the road from the US so be mindful of traffic if you are walking!

5.) Y’all know I like to keep it real…Coral Beach isn’t really so much of a beach as a bulkhead and you take stairs directly down into the water. It was also very rocky and I wish we had brought water shoes. It’s a BEAUTIFUL view for sure, but not a beach you just walk into the water from like many other places or the public beaches on 7 mile. They do have clean bathrooms and you can purchase food and drinks. You can also rent chairs or a cabana like we had.
Would we go back to this spot? Probably not with Emma Kate. I’m glad we did it once and it was gorgeous and great if you just want a nice view and access to food and drinks. But for families with kids that want to play in the sand or run back and forth in and out of the water, this is not it. I would say just go to the public beach and set your towel in the sand for that! Locals will have chairs you can rent for the day in a lot of places as well. Let me know if you have any questions!
