I’m calling this my “atrium appreciation post.” (A D)

There is just something SO special about sitting on your balcony overlooking the beautiful atriums at @gaylordoprylandresort, listening to the waterfall, and being “outside” without having to deal with heat, humidity, or bugs. (Yes as a southern girl we just CANNOT sit outside right now!)

Gaylord Opryland has three beautiful atriums, one even has a boat ride that goes around it. There are so many beautiful spots to explore, shops, and dining options. We were there two days and felt like we barely scratched the surface of all there is to offer. More info coming soon specifically on #summerofmore, but I just wanted to share the breathtaking atriums, there is truly nothing like it!

Hello @waltdisneyarchives! It was so fun getting to see the exhibit just a couple of days after it opened at @visitgraceland in Memphis! (A D)

Since we are on another trip already I thought I was time to wrap up sharing about our New Orleans hotels from our last trip! (A D).

This is the @mercantilenola, a boutique hotel in the warehouse district in walking distance to the riverwalk and Poydras Street. (We walked to dinner one night!)

All the rooms are suites with a sofa sleeper in the living room so great for families! There is a fun bar in the lobby that serves cotton candy margaritas, and they have valet parking and a fitness center.

There was plenty of space for @bobbymontg to set up his computer for work and a great wet bar area as well! If you like lots of space this is the place for you! Thanks for having us! Swipe for more!

One more summer hoorah! ☀️

We went on a long FL road trip in June which ended at @gaylordpalms. We very much enjoyed the hotel and the new Crystal River Rapids, so I was super excited to be invited to @gaylordoprylandresort!

Our journey begins tomorrow, we are heading to Memphis to stay at @guesthousegraceland for two days before continuing on to Nashville. So excited to share new to us locations with you so that you can plan your next adventure!

#PSA There is a lot of information floating around

#PSA There is a lot of information floating around about COVID-19 and the vaccines, that I can understand why people may be hesitant. (#ad) I was one of those people, until I spoke with friends in the medical field, and also did a lot of my own research. I have family members and friends that we come in contact with regularly who are unable to get the vaccine, so I wanted to do it to help protect them and others in the community who are vulnerable.

I know that many are on the fence, but know that whatever option you choose, it is a very personal one and you have to do what is best for your family. Americans need to feel confident in their decision, and I encourage you to seek more information before you make a decision either way.

I love knowing that we have options to help in our decision making! Be sure to click the link in my bio to get answers and make an informed decision.

(A D) The weekend is a great time to visit New Orleans my friends! When we were there a couple of weeks ago and stayed at @higginshotel, we had so. Much. Fun. Not only were the rooms beautiful as I showed you before, but all the common areas/lobby were just gorgeous as well!
