Country Roads, take me to a cabin! (The place where I belong!) ad ⛰️

Recently we spent a long weekend at a beautiful, huge cabin in Sevierville Tennessee, which is just outside of Pigeon Forge. We have stayed in a lot of cabins, so let me just tell you how staying with @overmoon is different. 👍🏻

1.) You can add on services and products to your stay such as grocery delivery, early check in or late check out, and you can even rent a dog crate and it will be waiting for you when you check in. (Yes dogs are allowed!) 🐕

2.) There is a local host that can answer any questions you have and make you feel right at home and is just a text away!

3.) They thought of everything! From bubble bath for the kids to body lotion, nightlights, a high chair and baby gate, they truly have everything you need so you don’t have to lug extra stuff around. They even stock extra bathroom and kitchen supplies!

4.) Easy check out! No long list of chores like empty the trash, do the dishes or raise the air conditioner. You literally just pack up and go, making your departure easy and stress free.

5.) They text you the door code and WiFi password at check in so you can immediately get inside the home. They also have a QR code you can scan that gives you home and area details such as the numbers to emergency services like the fire department and even the closest veterinarian!

Treat it like a “trip” and not a vacation. 😬

If you set your expeditions a little lower and don’t imagine your trip to look like a movie set or IG reel, it will help you to stress less and enjoy it!

I have problems sometimes with expecting too much out of an 8 year old, and it admittedly can get me bent out of shape. Ever since I heard the “trip not a vacation” quote, it has helped a lot!

There will be a time when she doesn’t want to travel with us, or when she has moved out and started her own family trips and traditions. I’m sure I will wish for those crazy trip days, so even though sometimes it’s SO FRUSTRATING, I’m trying my best to just enjoy those moments!
